Rooms were clean and comfortable, check in smooth, breakfast good, but when you sell a property with parking and is really difficult to find. Then you walk through the empty "paid "parking . International visitors (couples) travel with 2 suitcases one luggage rack again, empty wardrobe maybe a folding one. Or one you could get from reception 😉 STILL we live in hope. Colin. Australia 🇦🇺

Check in was remote with little direction or coordination. Unloading luggage was not ideal due to location of desk distance to remote check in. Unsure of where to go so had to handling luggage was difficult. Remote parking some ways away and uphill. Could use better staffing support at check in and out. Shower drain was slow and water door did not seal properly causing significant water on bathroom floor. No elevators made it difficult to move luggage and inconvenient to get to and from rooms

The hotel at face value is comfortable and the rooms are well made and the bathrooms are a good size, and from what I could see every room has a little balcony/outside area. However at the premium prices the hotel charges I am not surprised by this. This is where most the pleasantries stop. Upon arrival the first hidden charge you will find is the inclusive parking. Whilst there is parking included it is limiters to one small lot and the top level of a multi story, and both of these are more than likely full to the point of people parking on the ledges and in the middle of lot in any space they can find. For a fee however you can enter

We get upgrade to Histrion hotel and our room was with a fantastic view. Hotel has a very nice swimming pools with sea water. The only downside is the fact that you need to pay for the beds at the beach. But for the rest very nice hotel and very good quality of food in general in Slovenia.

Really lovely complex of hotels. Loads of good things, service, friendliness. Bad side was noise, our room was above bar and the insulation was ok but not great. However, there were a herd of elephants above us at 0530. Really disappointed as I had a very long drive ahead. Staff are excellent. Note, cocktails are limited if you don’t like vodka. Only rum was Captain Morgans. Breakfast buffet was great, busy around 9 with kids so avoid that time - very close to scalding one flitting around in flip flops. They say it opens at 7, but they must love keeping people waiting as it was 7:05, we were all standing like idiots. (I secretly thinking they were just laughing at us!!) I would definitely go back, the room was lovely.

The layout of the property is a bit confusing and not well sign posted, the staff were a very mixed bag of bad customer service and a little rude to very kind and helpful depending on what time you dealt with them.

The basic amenities were missing. The light was broken, the shower was broken, the A/C was not working, the telephone in the room to contact reception was not working.

We stayed for only three nights but had an entirely positive experience. We had a large and spacious room with a separate bedroom. Nearby restaurants offered good food and great service, and an indoor swimming pool, included in the price, was just steps away. We will definitely return.

Our first impressions were less than favorable, but we left feeling much better about our stay. It was very difficult to find the check-in location. And there was no parking or stopping point allowed for convenient access to check in. The room was very nice, but guests need to be aware of the limitations for parking and the fact that there are no elevators leading to the rooms. No assistance was offered to help carry our heavy suitcases up the stairs. The breakfast that was included was fabulous. The hotel offers two breakfast sessions to keep the numbers controlled as there are numerous guests wanting to eat at the same time. The facility provides access to amazing wellness treatments for an extra charge. These need to be scheduled in advance so don’t plan on using these your first day of arrival. Schedule well in advance.

Our rooms were clean and modern. We had everything we needed. It was a bit difficult to find and navigate, but once here, we enjoyed it very much. We had a good place to eat nearby with great service by the sea. The breakfast was very good.

I wouldn’t stay here again. It was difficult to sleep as the room was very hot and we couldn’t leave our balcony doors open as so many other guests were smoking on their balconies. The fire alarm blinked a green light over our beds every 30 seconds and a loud fan ran constantly in the bathroom. It was difficult to find the entrance to the hotel and it wasn’t clear that check-in was at a different hotel and there weren’t enough parking spots to accommodate all the guests. There were lots of stairs, no elevators so a lot of work to get luggage from parking to check-in and then to our room. No thanks.

Very nice hotel and comfortable room. Breakfast was very good as well as the buffet dinner. Personnel very pleasant. Mobility could be an issue for some people. Not convenient for parking up a hill and having to bring luggage to the hotel. Walking between the main hotel and villas was unpleasant in heavy rain for hotel services. Otherwise, beautiful location.

Clean facilities but in need for refurbishment). Great for a vacation on a budget, not so great for a business traveler due to poor room amenities (e.g. a single plug available, poor wifi, poor desk space).

Gorgeous grounds, beautiful room overlooking the ruins in the courtyard, clean room, free breakfast and a superb staff. The locatio couldn't have been better. There was no room for improvement. Absolutely fabulous hotel.

Apartment good if slightly dated. Good range of shops and facilities in the complex and a 15 minute walk to Piran town which is very nice old town. Main criticism is that you have to pay 20E per day to use a parasol and pair of sunbeds at the hotel pool or lawn - we bought a lilo and laid on the grass.

Vile park is a part of a big resort. The room is compact, but enough for the business trip. You have to use the restaurant in the different building, but it is not that far. If you want to use the gym, you have to use it in another building and you need to ask the front to visit the gym in the other building, then someone in the other building will help you to use the gym. Basically, you don't want to use the gym. One important thing is that you have to buy your drink in the dinner, even though it is a buffet style. It is not familiar to the most of Asians. Other than that, it is an ok place.

This was a very good stay, we enjoyed this hotel. It was the offseason so the hotel was quiet and the big pool was closed for the season. The room was very clean, but was dated and the hall smelled of smoke, but had a great breakfast. Overall we felt for the money, it was very good value. No complaints, we would go back!

Most rooms are old and tatty, very dark and dim,tv was a very small portable , definitely room is stuck in 70's decor although location of hotel is great, I requested a room change and was moved to a newer block, room was much brighter, I was disappointed as it was nothing like what I was expecting, as the pictures on the internet and expedia show the hotel to look amazing and it is far from that. Dining was in sister hotel, food was good, good choice of buffet breakfast. Swimming-pool is small, otherwise part of sea is cordoned off for swimming, other hotels in vicinity have much nicer bathing, still with area cordoned off but sun bathing area is much nicer. Nice marina and half hour walk to Piran or Portoroz main beach, All in all good location but needs rooms need updating, with a little TLC rooms could be nice

Stayed there for 5 nights on a business trip. The booking options include breakfast or half-board, while the food was served in the neighboring hotel's restaurant. The choice and quality of buffet food was very good. Hotel staff speaks English, German and Italian, among other languages.

Exhausting heat.No air conditioner or ventilators in the room. Could not sleep. My stay was during the first week of July. Would never go back during the summer. By-the-way, my mother is 77 years old and suffered more than me. The trip to Portoroz was her birthday present. :(
