To get to the room we had to climb a step stairwell. The grounds were not maintained: there were construction rebars (see details in photo), lots of weeds, and the stairs were uneven to step on. The basic breakfast was at the hotel’s taverna (a 200 meter walk from our room). The hotel website shows that the hotel is on the coast, however, the room we were given was not at the hotel but in an unfinished building (it appears that only our floor was finished). Although we noticed that someone came into our room, the towels were not exchanged nor the room was cleaned.

Affordable, picturesque location, extremely clean excellent experience

The family Fasoulakis was absolutely amazing! The rooms were immaculately clean and yet very authentic. The location directly on the water was breathtaking. The restaurant served fantastic and plentiful food. I wish we had been able to spend more time in Sfakia and at this wonderful little gem of a place Very clean Great variety and flavor of food and drink Great location Affordable and well appointed Fasoulakis work very hard to ensure you are delighted and if you go we highly recommend walking the 2 km to Ilingas beach to spend some time enjoying the Libyan sea; memorable

There is a wide range of rooms to choose from. Simple to luxurious depending on your budget! The food at the hotel restaurant is the best in the area!

The shower was small, in the room that hasn’t yet been renovated.

2 lovely nights in Chora Sfakia

Excellent position with friendly staff. Good food served in the restaurant. Very clean room.

Room was very small so only room on one side of the bed for a shelf or table. Fine for a couple of nights but would be a problem if we stayed longer and had luggage. We would stay again but book a larger room.

The location, view and air-conditioning was very nice. The restaurant has great food and the staff are very friendly. The beach is 2min walk away. Definitely a good spot for the price!

The shower curtain was mouldy and it was too short so water shot all over the floor when showering. Luckily there is a drain on the floor as well. The parking anywhere nearby is a nightmare. They cannot help this but it should be mentioned before arrival so you can plan. We had to park on the hill and drag our bags down into the town.

We have booked this rooms as economy variant for our trip thru Crete. Rooms were clean and location was on quite street. There is plenty of restaurant below the hotel. I was nicely surprised by breakfast that were quite good.

The local hiking is amazing and Hora Sfakion is a friendly town! of

Lefka Ori is in a great location and we enjoyed our balcony facing the beach. Our room was spacious and had a nice kitchen.

If you are there in low season, the restaurant isn’t open.

This is a classic inexpensive Greek hotel in the heart of the village on the sea. Two beaches are within one minute walk. The restaurant is excellent and the staff are very friendly.
