Great for a solo traveler

Great location surrounded by restaurants and shops, right in front of the church. The room is perfect for a solo traveler. The host and cleaning services deserve extra appreciation.

Great Location in Old Town

Excellent location in the Old Town, step out your door and the choices to eat drink and explore are endless. Stairs to room maybe an issue.

When making the booking it only shows one room when in fact they have two different rooms available to book. I chose this property because of the pictures as it looked like a decent size furnished well with space to sit other than a bed. Unfortunately we were given a small room , this room was fine and clean but didn't match the pictures or my expectations. If there is more than one choice they should be shown and then the purchaser can make the decision. If the two options where shown I would not have chosen the room we were given.

Fantastic!

This is right in the heart of the village , 2 Mins from beach. Super comfortable. The owners were so so kind when twisted my ankle, they went the extra mile. Really greatfull.

The are extremely extremely steep stairs, and a lot! Which does not have great lighting.

The location in beautiful Monterosso was perfect. Our room was tiny but very comfortable, beautifully decorated and very clean which suited my daughter and me as we didn't spend much time in the room. The small piazza was charming with restaurants, shops, and patisserie nearby. The beach is a 5 minute walk to either the free beach or paid beach chair section. E15 for a whole day with service for drinks and snacks. Ocean is crystal clear. Train station is a 10 minute walk.. be sure to take the tunnel to avoid the stairs. Monterosso is quite level so easy to get around . It becomes more hilly as you go back into the village away from the shore. It's busy with tourists and hikers during but becomes lovely and peaceful as evening approaches.

Access to the apartment was by very steep stairs. This is fine if you have light luggage, but would be a challenge if you have a large suitcase.

Pleasant stay, quaint room, great location, room was a bit hot and stuffy.

Location was excellent. Right in the heart of downtown Monterosso al Mare. Monica was kind to let us check in hours early.

The rooms get hot and stuffy and the hostess refused to let me use the air conditioning, and instead suggested I just open the soundproof window (The room is directly above a noisy restaurant and the main street)

Great location

Location was great, right in the centre of things and two minutes from the beach. Apartment information stated that the apartment had a balcony but this isn't so. It does however have a large window which looks out onto the square and it's possible to sit at a little table by the open window, having a drink and watching and listening to all the toings and froings below. Bathroom was tiny but apart from the stairs issue mentioned below we were very happy with the room

Three flights of very steep and narrow stairs are required to reach the apartment, Although it was not a real problem for us, even carrying two suitcases, it would certainly not be suitable for everyone

An excellent Place to Stay in Monterosso

The location was excellent ... in the centre of the Old Town ... and extremely quiet at night even thought there were plenty of restaurants and bars located nearby. The room had great character and plenty of space and Monica was an excellent hostess.

It's necessary to ascend two flights of narrow stairs to reach the property so care needs to be taken. The ensuite bathroom in our room was quite small and, although we were fine, larger folks might struggle when using the toilet.

Awesome location in the heart of monterosso, with a very friendly host family!

This gem was in the heart of Monterosso, right beside all of the gift shops and eateries! it felt very safe and private we a one bedroom with bathroom. The owners/host family knows a little English, and they were very pleasant and helpful.

beware of stairs! This unit is at the top, meaning you walk up/ down a pretty steep set of stairs up two floors. No laundry facilities within the unit.

Convenient location and very clean double room with beautiful views

Exceptional cleaning with attention to the details. Super convenient location at the centre of Monterosso Old Town with easy access to the train station, beach, bars-shops-restaurants. Very beautiful view of the church and the sea. Renovated room with good quality window panels offering sound and energy comfort.

Only location - very good

The room is dark and very small, just for a bed and one chair. When we arrived, the bathroom door was broken - it was impossible to open it from the inside. This was fixed after our intervention. However, in my opinion, it's impossible that the host hadn't noticed it earlier and it was embarrassing to talk about it. Also, you can smell fried fish from the restaurant on the ground floor when the balcony window is open.

Light and airy and central to the township, but happily quiet after hours. Silvana was very helpful.

Pokój jest kameralny, z malutkim balkonikiem, ale z super wygodnym łóżkiem, czyściutki, gospodyni przemiła, codziennie zabierano śmieci, ścielono łóżko. Idealne położony w centrum Monterosso, wszędzie blisko, do plaży, sklepów, do dworca 7 minut na piechotę (z walizką;)) Dla 1, max 2 osób idealne

Pewną trudnością są wysokie i wąskie schody, żeby się dostać do pokoju na piętrze, ale jesteśmy na terenie Cinque Terre, więc trzeba się z takimi rozwiązaniami liczyć;)

Ottima location per visitare le cinque terre

Monica è stata molto gentile e disponbile, la casa è in pieno centro ed è comodissima per visitare le cinque terre. Non c'è nessun parcheggio vicino, poichè l'intera zona è a traffico limitato, ma c'è un parcheggio poco distante, costoso, ma comodo. Se dovessi visitare nuovamente le cinque terre, sicuramente alloggerei di nuovo qui!
