I booked a single room, it was clean and confortable. The location is also perfect in the center.
The noise. The hostel is located on the first floor in a street where there are several bars, my room was just above a bar and i could here people and the vibration of music until 1-2 am.
I had brought my earplugs so I was not too bothered though.

Great location, easy acces to the touristique sites and restaurants
If you're not a party person, that might not be the ideal place. It's getting a little noisy at night.

The location right in the middle of Bairro Alto. The kitchen with coffee machine.
If you want to sleep at night the sound from the parties in the street can be slightly annoying.

There were few people with us
The noise from the bars right under the room. We could hear the music even louder than in the local where the music was playing.
Also the door to our room was broken and we were stuck in our room unil someone heard us and came to let us out.
