Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good. Stay was comfortable overall.
Room was very dark. Though washing machine was there, but no facility to hang the cloths. Later, a staff provided cloth hanging stand on personal request. Water from shower was very very slow. Taking a bath seemed very tadious job.

The space, and the location
The cleanliness and the fact that the staff were not organized. We had to wait for checkin, which was fine since we came early. But when we returned to check in they still asked us to wait.. they also had issues finding us the room we requested and booked and tried to offer us an upgrade (which to us did not seem like an upgrade when we saw it). We also had to leave earlier because of a family emergency (passing in the family) and request a partial refund which they promised to process the following day but never did. I don’t think we will return to this establishment again, it was disappointing and not up to the movenpick standards we expected.

Location
1- Very rude staff in the reception (Salina), I’m taking to her and she is looking around and not paying any attention, I asked her that please don’t give me any room with connected door but she gave me room with connected door, I came back down and asked her why even I told you, she became even more rude, she raised her voice and told it’s your mistake because you are late with your check in even though I sent an email beige days telling that I will arrive with my fiancé around 10:30 to 11:30, after that she transferred me to smaller room which not the deluxe which I booked.
2- Very Poor cleanliness (toilet full of cockroach), irresponsible and careless hotel manager (Cristine), first she refused to come and meet me and she sent a guy who is just wearing white shirt and and no name tag and anything showing identity that he is working in the hotel, then she came when I insisted that I want to talk to the manager, but unfortunately she showed me very careless attitude when I told her about the the staff attitude and the type of the room and worst was about the cockroach, she told me it’s normal to find cockroach in toilets and it’s not a big deal and I will change your room and there was no hands towels and tissues in toilet
Simply my staying was unpleasant at all and it was very very bad experience

The cleaning staff took very long to clean the rooms even after making a request for the room to be cleaned.At times they would come as late as 7/8pm when we were back.in the room and ended up doing a hurried job.This area needs lots of importance.

Housekeeping could have been much better. The overall cleanliness was below expectations — dirty carpets, worn-out chairs, and a lack of freshness throughout. Many walls and corners appeared unclean. This was quite disappointing, especially from a reputed hotel like Mövenpick.

The space and apartment were exactly as advertised. I especially appreciated the assistance with our bags throughout our stay. The team was also extremely helpful when I accidentally left my documents at the hotel after returning home.
The cleaning during our stay was poorly done. It appeared that only the beds were made, while floors were not swept. There is significant room for improvement in housekeeping. It would also be helpful to provide basic cleaning items for washing plates and dishes.

The booked king deluxe studio doesn’t include a pool view even though it’s in the description. We got a room facing the inside of the hotel which didn’t allow much natural lighting.

The requested room was NON-smoking but ended up a dirty 1-bedroom smoking room!
My son’s asthma was being triggered and he had an attack! We requested a new room but, got disappointed as there is no available room!
Called someone to clean but just brought the floor map and an air freshener🥲
The worst experience this time for the 4th time we checked in!

It was convenient and inexpensive, clean and comfortable in an old school way. But the best thing was the courtesy and kindness of all the staff members from the reception to the bell boys and waiters. I got what I expected and that was good enough. Bed and aircon was great. There was a stove, frying pans and cutlery so we could make our own breakfast. Early check-in was permitted on two occasions and nothing was too much trouble.
The bathrooms were stuck in the 80s I felt. They could do with an upgrade. The carpets could be drycleaned more often...

The value for my room was impressive. A bedroom, a living room. With microwave, cooker, fridge, ironing equipment. It was so nice even I stayed solo.

I recently stayed at Mövenpick Hotel Apartments Al Mamzar in Dubai and had a mostly comfortable experience. The bed was very good, supportive and cozy, making it easy to rest after long days. The living room and kitchen area were also well-appointed, spacious, and convenient, especially if you’re staying for more than a few days or prefer the comforts of apartment-style living.
However, the bathroom, specifically the shower, could use an upgrade. It felt dated and didn’t quite match the quality of the rest of the room. A more modern, refreshed shower setup would really elevate the stay.
The biggest letdown also, unfortunately, was the staff and service. While they were polite, the level of attentiveness and warmth was below what I expected, especially when compared to my stay at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, where the staff went above and beyond and made every moment feel special. Mövenpick’s team felt more transactional and lacked that extra touch of hospitality that can make a big difference.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was quite poor.
Cleanliness was below average; there was an unpleasant odor in the room.
The bathroom was old, had visible stains, and the towels were not clean—also stained.
Housekeeping service is only reliable when someone is in the room; otherwise, something is always missing or done improperly.
Room service was frustrating—I had to call multiple times before they responded to any request.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience that I will not repeat

The staff are always super friendly and hospitable and helped me resolve the payment link issue and apologised promptly and were kind about it
On booking.com I selected the option to pay at the hotel. But the hotel sent me a payment link before the cancellation deadline to secure my room booking.
When I arrived the payment wasn't reflected on their system but I had the payment confirmation email. When I informed them that I requested to pay at the property they said they were very busy and send payment links to secure the rooms during the busy period which is the opposite of paying at the property. A disclaimer should be added to booking.com
