The property was right in town with a great view of the mountains. Nice deck off of the room to sit out and listen to the cows and their bells. Train station is close.

The stay and location is beautiful, they also provided the free ticket to Grindelwald for all of us for the entire duration of our stay.
Basic amenities like body wash, cooking oil, tissues were not available.

Monica, our host was a lovely and friendly lady who made us feel welcome from the start, the house was beautiful with that homely swiss charm. We were close to grindelwald facilities and leisure, a 5 minute or so drive or a free train that Monica sorted out for us. We honestly didn't want to leave, every morning waking up to the North Face of the Eiger was fabulous. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable, it was spotless! We would definitely visit here again and stay at this location.

The location and view was fantastic . Its a beautiful property looking at the north face of Eiger- couldn't ask for a better view. Schwendi station was so close by and so travel to Grindlewald was very easy and free for people who stayed at the property which was very convenient. The room was quite and cosy.
The room wasn't cheap- and was very aged and definitely need a bit of modernising keeping the old world Swiss Chalet feel. Missing basic tea/ coffee/ sugar/ oil etc and hence had to spend a bit more money which was annoying
