One night stay on our way to Italy

Stayed only one night on our way south. Booked on the very same day, just a couple of hours in advance. Placid place with extremely friendly owners. Just a few minutes from the highway. Comfortable room. Will be glad to come again.

Wonderful guesthouse, wonderful location, wonderful owners

We booked the guesthouse at the last minute on our way from Italy. We actually just needed somewhere to sleep and in the end the reality exceeded our expectations. The guesthouse is located on the outskirts of the city, while the city center can be reached comfortably on foot in 5 minutes. What I appreciate the most is the personal approach of the owners. The rooms are newly renovated with great taste. The equipment is thought out down to the last detail and we didn't miss anything at all. High-quality mattresses, coffee maker, balcony. We could also use the breakfast room and living room on the ground floor of the house. That was very convenient, because we spent a pleasant evening there with our daughters playing board games. Simply a wonderful guesthouse in a wonderful location, where you can see the loving care of their owners. Unfortunately, we only stayed here for one night and we are already looking for a reason to go here again.

We stayed 4 nights in the 2-person apartment. Nicole gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and gave us tips about things to do. It is close to the Katschberg ski slopes (15 minutes by car), the center of Gmünd is a 5 minutes walk, just like the Spar supermarket. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We will come back again :)

Nicole and Ron are very friendly and kind, nothing is a problem. The appartment was nice, clean, spacious, with nice view from the balcony. What I appreciated was hot water in the shower for everyone (that the last one did´t have cold water because of empty boiler :D ). There is a room for skies and boots (heating available). The location is fine, about 20 minutes by car from Katschberg ski resort, 5 minutes walking from Spar shop.

Great place as a base camp to visit the whole area

The location, close to the highway is ideal to visit all the area. In addition there is easy parking near the pension. The couple who is managing the place is really nice and helpful. There are multiple kind of rooms available, some with balcony, some not.

Perfect stay with super nice hosts

Pension Sonnenheim was perfect choice for us. Nicole and Ron were super nice and helpful with everything, it was a pleasure to talk to them. Breakfast was also very good. You could feel personal touch, homely atmosphere and attention to details. I would recommend it to everybody, especially those who want to go to Nockalmstrasse or to Malta. Thanks a lot!

Good location and infrastructure, easy communication with the owner, very clean.

I like the behaviour to the guests by Ron and Nicole. Nice, relaxed and always ready to help. I didn´t feel that welcomed at any Booking facility for a long time. Rooms were well equipped, kids playground and swimming pool at the Sonnenheim are great also. The same goes for breakfast, where Sonnenheim´s own apple juice and eggs were nice add ons. My oppinion is (and I´m very picky about the silence during my sleep) that there is no noise issue and you can sleep well. Gmünd is very small town so location of Sonnenheim is good and you will be in centre in 5 minutes walk.

Very pleasant stay in a great location! - The hosts were exceptionally friendly and responsive to our requests - The apartment was clean and had all the necessities (except salt and pepper we forgot to bring). - Bed was comfortable and the surroundings pretty calm - Short walk away from the Gmünd town centre and just a few minutes drive from the Maltatal valley

Beautiful family-run pension near the motorway to Salzburg. Exceptionally warm, helpful and welcoming owners. Quiet location 5 min walk from the historical town center. Spacious room.

Prostorná lyžárna s vysoušeči lyžařských bot, velice milí hostitelé, čisto, dobrá snídaně, blízko lyžařského střediska Katschberg.

Preporuke za odličan smještaj.

Ljubazni vlasnici koji jako dobro govore engleski i dostupni su za razne informacije. Soba je prostrana, čista i topla. Doručak je raznovrstan. Centar grada udaljen 10 minuta pješice, a skijalište Katschberg 20 min autom. Bili smo na skijanju i uplatili 5 noćenja.
