I’d definitely come back

I really enjoyed my stay ! The place was clean and cozy, and the staff were so nice and helpful the whole time. My room was comfy and quiet — perfect for getting a good night’s sleep. The location is easy to access and peaceful. Breakfast was tasty with lots of options. Overall, it was such a pleasant stay and I’d definitely come back. Totally recommend!

Peaceful place to be - takes you back in time.

Hotel is located in a serene valley, this charming boutique hotel was exactly what I needed to escape the daily grind. The traditional Austrian furniture added a unique touch, making the space feel both stylish and inviting. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the location right by the river was simply idyllic. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying a great breakfast. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat in the heart of nature, this is the perfect spot.

Very nice and authentic hotel

Very nice hosts. A nice hotel kept in authentic Austrian style. Super nice to be able to have 2 rooms combined as we were 4 people. Our request for glutenfree food was fulfilled with multiple options. The breakfast buffet was overwhelming with freshly homemade bread and pastry and homemade glutenfree pancakes. We only staid for one night but would be happy to come back.

Perfect for short stays!

Nice location for traveling towards Italy or Croatia. The Pizza’s really are great! Best I had in a long time! Rooms aren’t super modern but fine, beds were comfortable.

Austrian Gasthaus with renovated rooms but with old Voglauer style furniture. I got lots of good dips form the owner what do to in Maltatal. Good breakfast especially fresh home made pancakes. I'll be back in the winter.

Nice old Austrian Alps style hotel. The pizza was one of the best what we have eaten. The breakfast has possibility to order fresh made eggs (Scrambled eggs, fried eggs). From reception we got lots of information what to do in Maltatal.

My favorite hotel in Carithia, or actually in Austria overall. Calm, quiet neighborhood, close to sightseeings, truly local experience. Staff knows a lot about the area. Pizza is to die for, as well as the breakfast. Excellent points from me. Highly recommended.

Pick your ski resort

Warm bread and eggs for breakfast, mmm. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Hotel is situated in the middle of 40 different ski resorts, which gives you a chance to pick the best skiing weather every day. Planning to come back for a week in March. Thank you.

Just Perfect

We had a great time! Personnel was welcoming, food in restaurant delicious (especially pizza!), breakfast had all we could wish (fresh oven baked bread!), our room was nice with comfy bed and nice view.

A very expensive nightmare.

Good bed clothes. Nothing more was good.

The location is on the road and you hear every car passing by. The breakfast is poor and everything - including croissants - comes from little plastic packings. Even the fresh bread was still wet inside and didn’t backed through. Definitely ok for €50, but we paid the double. The WLAN didn’t come through to our room. The room “with balcony” means that there is a balcony, accessed from the corridor - and anywhere can go there and look into the room.

This was my 4th time to stay at Locus Malontina, it pays to be loyal :) excellent experience, again. Staff members are super friendly sharing their experience. Spotless rooms, soft towels. Pizza from the wood burning oven is out of this world delicious, pizzaiolo has time to explain how all the main ingredients are from Italy and how the dough is minimum 24 hours fermented. Fantastic.

Vacanță liniștiă în mediul rural, relativ aproape de domeniile schiabile.

Hotel mai vechi, pe model de pensiune clasică austriacă, cu camere curate, personal serviabil, mic dejun bun, dar nu excepțional. Cel mai apropiat domeniu schiabil la 20 de minute cu mașina, la Katschberg. La maxim o oră de condus sunt însă 4 domenii schiabile cu peste 400km de pârtii în total. Exista un mic magazin cu de toate chiar în fața ușii hotelului, în parcare. Este magazinul campingului de pe strada alăturată.

Nu am fost mulțumiți de niciun fel de mâncare de la restaurantul hotelului, motiv pentru care am luat masa acolo doar o dată. Parcarea este suficientă dacă nu are loc niciun eveniment la restaurantul hotelului. Altfel trebuie căutată parcare pe străzile din zonă, însă nici aceasta nu este cu plată.

Ubytování bylo čisté, V ubytování byla lyžárna s vyhřívanými stojany na lyžáky. Pan domácí velmi příjemný a vstřícný. Ubytování v krátké dojezdové vzdálenosti cca 20 min. do lyžařského střediska. Snídaně dostačující co do množství jídla tak i výběru.

Přes zimu nefungovala pizérie a tak byl výběr jídel na večeři omezený. S ohledem na rychlost přípravy pravděpodobně ohřívané z mražáku. Jídlo bylo, ale velmi chutné - lazaně, pasta. S ohledem na charakter ubytování - malý penzion, to nebyl problém.

Nagyon kedves és figyelmes a személyzet, kiváló a reggeli, finom a kávé (nem a szokásos vízízű). Az ágyak nagyon kényelmesek, a szoba elegendő méretű. Tisztaság volt mindenhol.

Talán annyi, hogy a szállás előtti parkolóban csak pár autó fér, el, picit távolabb van egy nagy parkolóhely, de nem jelentős a gyaloglás, 1-2 perc.

Für Kurzaufenthalt ausreichend, Preis- Leistungsverhältnis passt.

Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. Das Hotel liegt an einer Straße, also Autoverkehr, aber hat mich beim Schlafen nicht gestört. Die Einrichtung ist alt aber sauber. Für eine Nacht für mich ausreichend.
