A traditional, family run guesthouse in a lovely part of Austria with excellent hosts.

A very nice family run guesthouse in a beautiful area of Austria. Harold and Franka are perfect hosts at this relaxed, traditional guesthouse. The rooms are comfortable and a fresh and plentiful breakfast is available each morning. We also ate here each evening and were not dissappointed. A different 3 course special is offered each day and there is also an alternative and varied menu to choose from as well. We tried both and everything served was lovely. Eating outside on the rear terrace with a nice view across the valley is lovely. There is also a well stocked bar with a good choice of drinks. I really liked the on tap Gosser beer and my wife enjoyed the gin and tonic and various schnapps on offer. There is also onsite parking which is very welcome and the location is perfect for exploring the many attractions and activities available in the area.

Can't think of anything, we enjoyed our time here very much and will definitely return.

Compared to other accommodations in the area, it is great value for money to stay here

Very flexible and kind attitude from the host. They responded to all our questions/requests immediately and did their best to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast was varied and plentiful and in the evenings the bar in the basement of the house was an extra relaxing place to unwind. Compared to other available accommodation in the area, I think it is excellent value for money to stay here. The hotel is constantly evolving and the rooms are being upgraded.

A place with soul and wonderful staff

Beautiful place and wonderful people! I ment to stay only one day but ended up staying two, and it would have been longer if my holiday wasnt over. Biker friendly and a very nice price. I recommend to stay two nights or more and to have the full pension. The the days menu in the restaurant is allways a very good option. Guests that stays minimum 2 days will get a magic card that gives free access to the alpine road, the nockalmstrasse, the Porsche museum and lots of other places, you easily save a nights rent.

All is good! The place survived the pandemic with some postponed upgrades, but they will come and I will be back! After staying in over 20 hotels in 8 different countries the last month I will suggest that some tourists keep in mind that there is a general lack of staff around and that most places have been barely coping. Please try to make it a bit easy for the hard working people that makes our holidays!

Very good place for motorcyclist. Owners offered to park my motorcycle in their garage, offered to dry all wet stuff. Meal and the rest of all was top!
