Good for one night stopover

Marcello was there on time for the check-in and explained everything needed. The room was tidy, the beds were comfortable and the ceiling fan worked well. Breakfast was served at the agreed time by Gabriella, a very kind lady! It was a bit unusual setup of a residential apartment adapted into guest rooms. The bathroom is across a shared corridor (and appears to be also shared). It feels more like staying in someone’s place. Overall, the stay wasn’t bad. For me personally it is good for no longer than one night stopover.

It is disappointing when the description is misleading and inaccurate. Our room had neither a balcony nor a terrace, as was stated in the listing. The view wasn’t of a garden, but faced another residential building. You need to call about an hour before arrival NOT via WhatsApp to be able to access the building. I didn’t set up the roaming and couldn’t reach the owner. At the check-out we were asked to pay in cash, which stressed us a bit out, as we were not being informed in advance. The local ATM was not functioning, and we were in a hurry to get the train. Given the neighborhood, stay and breakfast, it was on an expensive side.

Feels like home! Very welcoming and honest host!

A charming property located just a short distance from the center of Como. It offered exactly what I needed: a refreshing shower, a quiet and peaceful night’s sleep, and a tasty, personalized breakfast. The apartment has a pleasant atmosphere with a touch of historic charm that gives it a unique character. Although we arrived late, our host was very welcoming and understanding, which we greatly appreciated. The personalized breakfast added a thoughtful and homely touch to the stay. I really enjoyed it

The accommodation is in a residential building — essentially a flat that has been converted into a B&B. The room was small and a bit old-fashioned, and this type of place isn’t usually my first choice. However, I left with a really good feeling. Marcello’s warm attitude made me feel completely at home. The breakfast setup isn’t what you typically expect while traveling, but I’m glad I got to experience it — it added a unique touch. There’s also a café just 50 meters away where you can enjoy a good coffee anytime.

FANTASTIC VILLA OLMO

Everything was within walking distance. Very quaint place to stay. Lac Côme is beautiful. Great restaurants especially the ones at the top of the funiculaire and great view. Our host was so sweet and informative. Very generous and lovely lady.

great location, very nice and clean room , reach breakfast and very nice staff. however, it turned out that the private bathroom is across the entrance hall, not within the room. You need to get dressed in order to go to the bathroom . other wise, we were satisfied with the room

With an easy access to the property, B&B villa Olmo is amazing. Lovely Marcello is a lovely host, takes care of his guests. my room was a single one, loved the fact that I had my own bathroom and my little terrace. Everything clean, all in all very welcoming place.

Location. a bedroom in an apartment building can hardly be called villa. breakfast was very poor and was served in a coffeeshop in the next building. there were no blankets on the bed. sleeping just under a sheet was too cold.

Perfect location near the Hilton where our family stayed, and walking distance to the Lake

Breakfast at the corner cafe was wonderful, and the staff there were so gracious and welcoming

The “private bath” was outside the bedroom and across the hall. We knew there was no AC when we booked, and unfortunately it was very hot and uncomfortable while we were there. Also, we were told after we checked in, and we’re not prepared to pay cash- did not accept credit cards. Was a hassle to get enough Euros for 5 nights

I don’t know where to start, This was not a B&B villa. it was an old bedroom with bathroom on the second floor in somebodies apartment in an apartment building. Our host was absent, and his assistant didn’t speak English. No instructionS for TV and very sporadic I ferner. Breakfast was not on premises but a block away in a bar. We did not even go there for the praises croissant.

If you read Villa Olmo you would expect a house but it’s a room in an apartment building. There was no airconditioning so the room was very hot and even with the windows wide open we could not sleep.

Location was in an apartement in a condominium, not easy to find at first sight. We had a private parking for 10 €. The rooms and bathrooms were big. The lady was very kind and she was speaking english.

Firts time in Como and what a great welcome i had by Marcello :) The room was very clean and tidy.Balcony was really good too. Worth to mention Marcello who was exceptional with everything that i needed to feel comfortable.Breakfasts are included and i did enjoy it.The staff also made sure to send me my stuff that i in rush left in the hotel when leaving Como. Great value for money and i honestly recomend it to everyone. I amdefienietely coming back this summer. Thank you B&B Olmo
