Room was clean and tidy, big enough for 1 person, breakfast was help yourself cereal and toast along with a served English.
Being a solo traveller all rooms for solo's are on the top floor, which not great but expected.

Very interesting breakfast options, I chose poached eggs and smoked salmon, yum. Plus greek yogurt and fruit, a very splendid breakfast. I like the direct easy walk into Carlisle centre.. Great to have good attention from Adele who is a superb host.
Sorry Adele was ill and not able to host us or offer breakfast on Sunday morning. However, the Cathedral cafe was open so we were able to get breakfast there instead.

Dining room could do with a little warming up prior to breakfast, otherwise very comfortable.
