Rooms were good for value and suited needs. Bed and bathroom were amazing. Cleaning staff left the room in immaculate state, would definitely stop again.

Breakfast was fine. Options were limited and quality was fine. Reception staff were incredibly helpful, boosted the experience.

Would definitely return on a future visit to Carlisle

Great location for the station and walking into town. I visited Carlisle with a friend for a lecture at the Tullie House Museum and it was a short walk from the hotel to get there. It's also a convenient location for the castle.

The weather ... but sadly, the friendly hotel staff couldn't fix that! Everyone was very helpful and friendly, from checking in to breakfast (which was really good).

Cheap and cheerful

Room was perfectly functional for our overnight stay, staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean. Bedding and towels very good. Shower was excellent. Didn’t eat here but breakfast looked and smelt great.

The hotel looks a little tired in places, mattress on bed far too hard. Be aware of location as it’s on the high street which is full of clubs and bars. It didn’t affect us as our stay was a Sunday evening and our room wasn’t on the street.

A nice budget hotel in a good location

Good central location. New lift fitted. Rooms were clean and ours was quiet on the 3rd floor. Large carpark at the rear. Nice bar and evening food was OK. Breakfast was good.

Room was needing a bit of attention, broken bedside lamp shades and a few missing parts on the skirting boards.

Probably wouldn't stay again.

The location was central enough to the town centre.

The bathroom was almost like a 'pod' within the room. It was tiny, and felt like a caravan bathroom. The room flooring was coming up in parts, and it smelled strongly of cooked food (i suspect we were above the kitchen). The lift was broken (only told after the room had been booked) so we had to walk up multiple flights of stairs with our luggage. The lady who I assume was on reception? Checked us in from a laptop at the end of the bar, and she was wearing a hoodie, joggers and trainers as opposed to a uniform. There was a man in the main reception/bar area asleep whilst charging his phone and there is a strip club directly outside the back of the hotel.

Good location, clean room with nice big bath towels. The staff were great, friendly and helpful. The shower was good.

Unfortunately the lift was out of action during our stay, so the climb to the third floor was difficult. The room was slightly on the small side, but okay for a two night stay.

Very disappointed and feel ripped off

The location is good if you want to be near the train station and in the centre.

Hotel is next to bars and clubs. Very noisy all night even mid week. This hotel is rough around the edges. It is far overdue a renovation. The bed is very uncomfortable, the room is too hot at night. We were charged £178.00 for 3 nights and feel totally ripped off.

Good location Clean Comfortable bed and pillows

No fridge for medical needs, even though it was disabled room. The lighting was so low. Only one plug socket, again for a disabled room, this was rubbish. No light by the bed or bedside tables. Bathroom shower hit all the walls and stuck in that position. Very inadequate for its purpose.
