Good location, friendly staff.

Good location, clean room with nice big bath towels. The staff were great, friendly and helpful. The shower was good.

Unfortunately the lift was out of action during our stay, so the climb to the third floor was difficult. The room was slightly on the small side, but okay for a two night stay.

Very disappointed and feel ripped off

The location is good if you want to be near the train station and in the centre.

Hotel is next to bars and clubs. Very noisy all night even mid week. This hotel is rough around the edges. It is far overdue a renovation. The bed is very uncomfortable, the room is too hot at night. We were charged £178.00 for 3 nights and feel totally ripped off.

No fridge for medical needs, even though it was disabled room. The lighting was so low. Only one plug socket, again for a disabled room, this was rubbish. No light by the bed or bedside tables. Bathroom shower hit all the walls and stuck in that position. Very inadequate for its purpose.

Superb staff made our stay

The staff in this hotel are fabulous, every one of them could not have been more helpful, we had a party of 11 and they organised the food for us, we pre-ordered it, the food was very tasty, as was the breakfast. All in all the staff definitely made our visit much more enjoyable.

The bedrooms could do with a lick of paint but nothing major.

Maintenance on lift until 9.30am one morning, not much you can do although I was on the 3rd floor!

Carlisle weekend

Excellent location. Lovely room, particularly as it was a disabled accessible room. Breakfast choices were good. Staff were helpful.

Food plates were left in the room all weekend. Not enough tea bags and sugar for my tea addicted mother! 🤣

Ibis Carlisle

It was quite we were at the back On the main road not far from centre nice Chinese next door weatherspoons across the road

Stayed for 3 nights 2 off them was nice and quiet but the third night Room above ours had a dog and it was going back and forwards it was making a noise all night, Wouldn't stay here again

Easy parking, and situated in the heart of the action in Carlisle

Parking was easy and the staff were very friendly to us. The hotel realizes that it can get quite noisy in the streets on Saturday night, so it provides free noise protection, which was highly appreciated. The rooms were very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stopover on our trip to Northern Scotland.

The time of our visit coincided with the lifts being out of order, so we had to climb the stairs with our luggage. Thankfully, it was only 2 floors. The street outside is extremely popular with the night crowd, so unless you're willing to join them you'll probably not be able to read a book in the rooms facing the street in front of the hotel. We joined them, so it wasn't that much of an issue for us.

Great hotel for a fair price. Would stay again.

Great city centre location. Was initially worried about noise but once we closed the window, you couldn't hear a peep from outside. Beds were surprisingly comfortable and quality was about as expected for the price. Room and communal areas were clean. Plenty of choice at breakfast.

No real complaints, although the bathroom was elevated within the room which was a bit strange and could potentially be an issue for guests who weren't as steady on their feet.

Did what it was supposed to do, was ok for the price.

A basic hotel and the price reflected that. No problem checking in and everything worked as it should. A little bit noisy but it’s in the city centre by night clubs etc, so that’s to be expected and didn’t trouble us. Free parking at hotel. Lots of food outlets and pubs nearby.

Hallways were really dirty, but the room and bar/reception area were ok.

Perfect stop for the night on the way to Scotland. The city also has historic monuments within walking distance from the

Central location, very clean, spacious room and friendly and helpful staff. Free parking!! It also has air conditioning!! Given that we are on a road trip in summer, didn’t realise while booking many months in advance that not all hotels have air conditioning. Some will provide a fan instead. Good mattress, so slept well. :)
