Casa Patio del Panadero

This is a wonderful place to stay in Cadiz old Town. It's a period property with so much character and a collection of great paintings and eclectic furniture and pieces of art. This makes it very welcoming and interesting. The staff are very professional and helpful and extremely nice, which is a big bonus. Our room was great, comfy bed, clean towels and linen daily and very clean with aircon and fridge which are super additions in the heat of the Summer. There are tea and coffee facilities also. It's also lovely and quiet. The location is perfect for anyone who wants to explore this magical place on foot and is not far from the buses and all the important attractions. The property has a parking space which needs booking in advance but at a very good daily price of only 12euros. Communication with the hotel in advance was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

We would have liked a safe in the room ( although we felt very secure in the property). The TV kept glitching due to inconsistent service, despite good WiFi and I would have liked the option of an English speaking film/ news channel ( I do like to watch a little TV before sleeping and stay in the loop with the news.) My Spanish did improve watching in Spanish though. And the drawers in the bedside cabinets smelt of damp which I think is just from being left closed. Easy enough to rectify - We just didn't use them but If there longer I would have said something. Parking space is not on site but only a10 minute walk away, however - good to know. I noticed that there is no air conditioning in the reception area making it very hot in the Summer and I am sure, freezing in the Winter. This must be difficult for the reception staff and anyone waiting in that area. All of these things are so easily rectified and do not take away from the loveliness of the staff and property.

Comfortable but lacked style and colour in the apartment, unlike the reception area.

Beautiful property with a very comfortable bed and strong A/C :) the staff were also extremely helpful with the parking and giving us tips on what to see during our short stay here. Also amazing location right in the middle of Cadiz! Absolutely wonderful :)

I didn’t dislike anything about the property itself. More as a warning for future car drivers, its very difficult to find this place by car due to the narrow roads and one way streets. But again the staff are super helpful to navigate the parking.
