The apartment was comfortable and clean, with a well-appointed kitchen for easily preparing meals. The location is excellent, with easy access to restaurants, shops, the promenade and beaches in a couple minutes walk, and about 20 minutes walk from the train station. The apartment was very quiet, and bright with a lot of natural light.
As with all old buildings during winter, mildew developed on the walls throughout my stay. It was very rainy, but even with opening the windows to promote airflow daily, there were still mold problems. I understand this isn't a problem specific to this apartment, but a seasonal challenge in the area.
