Convenient location for short stay.

Location and view over the Schelde was excellent- also close to restaurants and cafes in the southern centre as well as distance from the shopping area. The room had sufficient space in both living and bathroom

Small details needed fixing: a wobbly dining table, loose screws here and there, paint things black and every scratch shows! No socket immediately available for telephone cable. Lights in bathroom above your head, not handy for me shaving, my wife doing her makeup.

Just an okay option if you only have to sleep here and are busy the rest of the day in the city

It was nice to sleep, if you don’t have to do other things in the room. It was a small room so I would only recommended to couples.

They said it was a rivier view but when we were checking in, there was no rivier view but only a “city” view where you could only see some neighbours and nothing of the city

The accommodation was centrally located

This property is overpriced; the rooms are small, old and worn and there is no soundproofing. There was no one around to help with check-in/to assist after hours. The room was very worn and the view was disappointing, looking to the back of suburban buildings. Two nights in a row different couples came and checked into the room next door between 2-4am and were very loud, banging around, yelling and running up and down the stairs, banging the door and yelling in the common areas. It was impossible to sleep and I could hear everything that was happening in their room and in the hallway, which was horrible and inappropriate.

2 day stay as part of tour.

The whole apartment its location and beautiful view of the river was amazing. Very modern and well designed set up.

Apartment appeared not to have been cleaned to standard with reminents of the last occupants still present i.e crumbs in grill, dirty spoon left in sink, hairs and stains on bedding plus the bottom mattress cover hadn't been replaced by the cleaner. All was reported straight away and quickly rectified by the owner. Explained they had just employed a new cleaner so he welcomed the feedback regarding the cleaning standards so he could take action.

great appartement, disappointing communication

perfect location, modern nice apartments, amazing sunset views

-Shower door was broken (water leaked trough all the bathroom) aswel as shower head. -Inside the shower it’s Very slippery -1 of the chairs broken -Airco doesn’t cool the room, it was a very hot weekend, the airco wasn’t strong enough and it was to hot in the appartement. -The day after check out get a phone call from the manager I think, she didn’t introduce herself. Telling me they were SHOCKED by the way I left the apartment and the amount of trash I left. By the tone of voice she made it clear I wasn’t welcome anymore and they will sent an invoice for the deep cleaning of the apartment. -So be warned when it’s 35 degrees out and you put sun screen/oil on don’t sit or touch anything in the apartment you’ll be invoiced for it. (just to say: indeed a bottle fell over and i completely forgot to clean that up so totally agree on that part, at the same time there is nothing to clean with) -About the trash; again its a whole weekend 33/35 degrees keep in mind in Belgium its very humid also its not helpful if the airco doesn’t do its work. Naturally a human being has to drink allot, I happen to drink allot of soda cans and bottled water. Ofcourse that piles up after three of those days adding some salad and fruit bowls and the small trashcan in the apartment is full before the ending of day 1. So I put it all in a shopper instead of leaving it on the floor or the kitchen corner. She made it very clear that it wasn’t normal at all! Needles to say I felt very judged which obviously isn’t nice. -So a little tip maybe: if you expect it to be clean, make sure there are cleaning essentials this would for sure be very useful after meal preparation, atm there is only soap for the dishes. Ive travelled allot and never had a call like this. I was a bit shocked by the tone of voice and the judgement very unprofessional how they handled the situation.

Comfortable stay! Close to everything you need

Beautiful view of the river - stunning modern bedrooms! Very helpful host! Great coffee facilities and air con! Good location if you don’t mind walking everywhere!

Great building - great design/concept. Loved that. Antwerp was v impressive and much more interesting than I expected - v good fun. Location potentially great but see below.

Wooden floor scruffy, shower plinth had bad stain. Directly outside had massive ongoing roadworks, only for a few months I guess but should have been warned. There was a mistake and I was double charged, took a fortnight to get refund (and cost me in exchange fees...).

a neglected place

We had the feeling this was a gem once but is very neglected now. Never saw anyone from or at reception. We had to call several times on day of arrival to get the door code. The towels and the bedsheet were torn and the cupboard was unusable because it was too dirty. When we called the next day, it was eventually fixed. There was no hand soap in the room, which is kind of awkward in the times of COVID. Room was like on the pictures however in worse condition. We had a problem with payment by credit card. While this was our fault, because we had booked so much in advance that the credit card valid date had run out - it was dificult however to make the fiunal payment then, We got a text message from another person who claimed to be at reecption next day (Sunday) 9 am to 10 am - so we got up early to make the payment. But then „due to an incident“, there was no one at the reception and we had to settle via bank payment. Had to follow up twice via text to get the invoice sent to us. It feels like this place is not getting the attention it deserves

Superb

Loved the apartment, it's configuration and design. Fantastic direct views over the river Scheldt. The location and immediate area is fabulous too.

Access is via a keypad, which is fine, as it is not staffed. Minor issues about there being no coffee pods for the coffee machine and loo rolls not being replaced, presumably because it is not staffed.

Unsatisfactory

The view over the town of Antwerp is splendid. The location is very good. But we already knew the neighborhood as we used to live a block down the road.

The front door was unlocked and remained open during the night, which was quite unsafe and unpleasant as there was a storm raging outside. The cleaning and the maintenance (torn sheets, dirty walls of the bathroom) of the room were not up to standards. Even after we complained and the cleaning lady was saw to it, there still was confetti on the floor as well as broken glass. The room is quite small (as was indicated) however the placement of some of the amenities makes it less comfy than it could be (curtain rails blocking cupboards, lamps hanging near the television etc). After a second complaint the host kindly asked me to see to the bill. In my opinion this is not a way to deal with unhappy guests...

What we were looking for

Space, furniture and location. Ease of check in.

Place feels worn out. Needs repainting. Floors need a good clean (perhaps even a shave) Reception was odd. Arrived at 3pm. Nobody there. Had to call. Got the code. Front door was open. Keypad at front door was taped. Frontdoor was open. Doors given access to the rooms are not secure enough to serve as the only gate between your belongings in the room and anyone out there with bad intentions. Linnen baskets all over the place blocking elevators
