We stayed at "The Pink Pigeon" for a few nights before Christmas. The place was great and the location was perfect. It was very cold at this time but the apartment was warm and cosy. Bring small luggage as the stairs are narrow and steep but the description was clear about this so this is not a complaint or a surprise.

Enjoyable, and a very convenient location for seeing Antwerp.

The location was great, close to all the areas that we wanted to visit. It was a quiet area and we felt safe there.

We had a lot of stairs to climb to get to our apartment.

I would not stay here again or recomenrd it to two couples traveling together.

The location was nice.

This was up 3 VERY STEEP winding stairs to get to the door. Anyone with any issues walking or climbing cannot stay here. Even a small suitcase ( check in size) was difficult to get up. Once up, there were two bedrooms with a toilet and sink room on one side of the hall and the shower on the other. The only other toilet ( no second shower) was up another set of narrow steps to the living area—this is NOT a two bathroom apartment but a bath and a half. There also was no air conditioning which might have been ok but the open windows brought in flies and bees.

Stairway to 3rd floor of building is very narrow. Battled to get luggage up the stairs. suggest the should be some warning on Bookings.com prior to people making booking.

Cute design, upstairs living area is lovely and very relaxing. Fabulous location and good facilities. We were able to check in a little earlier, which although we didn’t end up needing to, the flexibility was appreciated.

A little compact downstairs for us (adult couple with one of our parents). The toilet door handle broke so couldn’t be closed…no response from the property manager when this was raised. Insufficient instructions to adjust/turn off the heating.

Great location, everything is walkable, quiet at night.

A very clean facility with everything you need to be comfortable. Nice natural lighting. Open living area in the upper level. We walked everywhere we wanted to go as the apartment is in a great location.

Oh ... the stairs! A wonderful property but you can only reach the apartment by climbing four flights of stairs. In my younger days, I'd have dashed up them but at 58yo I needed to be more careful. It all worked out OK but just a heads-up in case you've bad knees or don't move very quickly. Again: once you're in the apartment, it's an awesome space with great lighting.

Goede ruimte. Mooi ingericht. Netjes.

De 2 badkamers zijn geen volwaardige badkamers. Het is eigenlijk 1 badkamer en 1 toilet. Het licht kon niet uitgeschakeld worden in de gang en de timer stond op super lange tijd. Het was warm en met de ramen open te luidruchtig dus hadden we graag met de deur open geslapen maar dit was dus niet mogelijk. Ook omdat de lichtsensor deels in de kamer zat en bij de minste beweging terug aan ging.

Het appartement is oké, de locatie is wel top!

Locatie is top! Ook de inrichting is super leuk! Twee losse wc’s is erg fijn.

Het is wel erg warm in het appartement (nu was het dit weekend ook extreem warm). Koelkast was nog erg vies toen wij aankwamen, ook andere plekken waren niet goed schoongemaakt. Erg veel gebruikssporen op de muren en andere plekken. Het water in de douche liep niet weg, waardoor je amper na elkaar kon douchen. Het filter in de douche was ook vies, waardoor er steeds stof naar beneden kwam.

Een verblijf op een centrale locatie, maar met ruimte voor verbetering in comfort en prijs-kwaliteitverhouding.

Hoewel de locatie en foto’s veelbelovend waren, voldeed het appartement niet aan onze verwachtingen. De ruimte was kleiner en minder comfortabel dan gedacht, en de badkamer was niet praktisch. Helaas vonden we de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding niet in balans.

Wij hebben een heel erg fijn verblijf gehad. De locatie kon voor ons niet beter. Het appartementje is niet groot maar alles is er. Perfect voor een citytrip!

Op sommige plekken zag je dat er wat oppervlakkig was schoongemaakt.

Leuk, net en schoon appartement in een leuk deel van de stad Antwerpen.

Goede locatie in een leuk ‘minder’ toeristisch deel van de stad. Je zit met 10 min lopen in het centrum, maar ook op gelijke afstand in Antwerpen Zuid. Daar vind je leuke winkeltjes en een grote variatie eettentjes rondom de Volkstraat en de Marnixplaats.

Er waren meerdere lampen stuk, de koelkast deur was kapot waardoor je geen flessen in de deur kon plaatsen. De tweede afstandsbediening vouu ook r het kijken van tv was er niet. Naar wat later bleek door het stoppen van de service. Dit terwijl het kijken van TV nog wel in de info brochure in het appartement staat vermeld. Er is alleen gebruik te maken van Netflix op de tv in de woonkamer. De tv op de slaapkamer heeft dat niet, waardoor in principe deze niet te gebruiken is. Klein nadeel: de achterzijde van het gebouw grenst aan de gevangenis van Antwerpen. Dat zorgt voor enige geluidsoverlast als de gevangen luchten, of in de avond als zij via geschreeuw met elkaar communiceren. Na 22:00/22:30 was het stil. Op zich hebben wij er niet veel last van gehad, alleen voor de kinderen was het wel even wennen.
