A cosy room close to Axminster, we had a nice stay

Snug room did exactly what was advertised; a snug, comfy base close to Axminster. Warm even through a cold night in winter. Well stocked/prepared with everything we needed. Messages from owners were helpful and timely throughout booking, check-in, our stay and check-out.

We let the owners know our breakfast choices the night before via WhatsApp. Though our room was a snug room it had everything we needed.

The bed was facing the wrong way but probably couldn't face the shower/toilet door. It was really awkward to get out of and the sheets were forever sliding off the corner.

Everything was fantastic the hosts, the location and everything I needed. The only downside is that I could hear the people upstairs walking around but that isn't to take away from how lovely the place is, just being honest.

Fab snug room with real fireplace. Jon thought of everything, little kitchen had everything needed, even supplied milk and a pack of biscuits. What a lovely view and space to sit outside. 5 minutes to our meal at River cottage hq. Superb communication. Thanks

Overall very good for a short, three night stay for two adults.

The room was absolutely ready for us, including the en-suite, all exceptionally clean and tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits! ready for us on arrival. John was on hand and helpfully texted suggested eating places locally and a bit further out.

The room is 'snug' for two 'full' sized adults and not much room for luggage (we decanted stuff we decided we could do without back into the car). Perhaps more empty shelf space in the en-suite would be good.

The view is stunning, ideal, quiet location but only minutes drive to lyme regis .Hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Lovely hidey hole right midst beautiful countryside.

This place is indeed snug, and has so many extras tucked into discreet storage places I was blown away - from power adapters to a range of milk options. The host was discreet, very welcoming and super organised with any odd questions I had.
