Ants Infestation in Apartement Poor Accommodation stay away
The location was close to Spello but definitely not within walking distance.
The photos on the website are misleading. They represent only one cabin with much better furniture and decor. Our apartment was stark, plain, sparse, with very small shower, and only one roll of toilet paper. After a rain storm, the apartment was invaded by hundreds of ants crawling on us in bed, covering floors and counters. This is totally unacceptable. The towels were old, bare of any nap and only two towels for o e whole week. We needed help but when we called the owner phone number there was no answer. There is no maid service. We left after two nights and forfeited the rest of the money we paid. Don't stay here. Go to a real hotel with good service, breakfast, and no infestation of insects.

Great setting, with the beautiful town of Spello in full view.
Great location and facilities on site. You definitely need a car as it is outside the town. The gentleman who owns this facility could not have been kinder. We arrived late, as we got lost, he waited for us and then rang restaurants and made a reservation for us. Not only that, he then drove in front of us on his motorbike to show us the way! He was about most of the time, but was not interfering, always a friendly smile and a desire to be helpful.
It would have been nice to have at least a bottle of water in the fridge as a welcome. The internet quality is poor. While I speak very highly of the manager/owner, I’m afraid the cleaning lady’s attitude towards us was, at times, unfriendly and this was upsetting, especially for my young grandchildren.

Lovely location, small apartment
Nice location - the scenery was spectacular (we had a view of Spello old town from the apartment). Would have been much nicer if the weather had been better (it rained every day and was unseasonably cold, so the swimming pool was never opened for us to use). The manager of the site was helpful when she discovered that the washing machine reserved for the guests had broken - she allowed us to use her own washing machine instead.
The apartment was a little smaller than we had imagined from the photos. We were only two people in an apartment made for four, and we felt the apartment was too small for just us - it would have been far too small if we had been four people,

I really enjoyed our stay at Terra dei Santi! It was such a tranquil space to come back to in between our travels around Spello, Assisi and Perugia. The garden and outside area is lovely with the flowers and Olive Trees, very well kept. And the pool is so relaxing and clean with a beautiful view of Spello in the background. The location is great, it's just outside the center and easy to reach by car and even by foot if needed. The apartment is clean and has all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. We could even wash our clothes. Very comfortable parking for your car too. It's great value for money and I would definitely come back to stay here if I visit Spello again. Thank you!
