An amazing location for exploring Spello!

An amazing location for exploring Spello. The city center is an easy 5-10min walk. Free and easy parking across the street. The room was clean, quiet, and simple. The breakfast was wonderful, offering both a sweet and savory option. The host was very kind and we enjoyed starting our morning with cappuccini.

The pool and the breakfast were highlights of our overnight stay.

The pool was sensational The breakfast was delicious. The room was big, quiet, dark and comfortable. The balcony gave us an opportunity to hand wash our hiking clothes and dry them on the balcony.

Perfect in every way

Villamena B&B is a beautiful place to stay in Spello. Our 3 nights were perfect in every way and meeting Alessandro & his father was a highlight. They are the most kind and professional hosts. Breakfast by the pool in the morning was most enjoyable. Our room was spotless and extremely comfortable. We were able to walk easily to the train station and also into the Centro Storico of Spello. It was so relaxing to return home for a swim in the pool & to then sit poolside and read a book. We very much hope to return.

We felt really fortunate to have visited Spello & stayed at Villamena.

The home looked fine from the outside with a pool & a beautiful garden. Inside it was amazing with lovely stairs, a spacious bedroom and a fine bathroom. Next door was a pleasant ristorante and across the street was the ancient city of Spello. The home was well positioned within the town.

This was a perfect location and truly wonderful place to spend our days in Spello.

Our stay at Villamena was excellent in every way . Our host couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome and served us a delicious breakfast with great coffee. The whole place is beautifully decorated with art work and the room has every comfort you could need . An easy walk from the station and the sights of Spello.

There was nothing to dislike - it was a highlight of our holiday .

Did not live up to the pictures on Booking.com

Location, cleanliness and cheerful staff

The pool was not useable due to construction work nearby (4 meters away). The primary reason we chose this property was for the pool, so clearly we felt cheated and deceived. The noisy construction work certainly did not add to the quiet atmosphere we had hoped for. Had we known, we would have chosen a different option. Breakfast was underwhelming. It consisted of a croissant, and two sweet fruit cakes covered with icing sugar. So again, one feels deceived, since this certainty does not come close to the standard ‘continental breakfast’. The pictures in booking.com raise expectations that are sadly missed by reality… Additionally, as with so many properties in Italy, the toilet seat is loosely connected to the toilet bowl - I am beginning to think that this is true of nearly all small hotels in Italy. It would be so simple to tighten the bolts. Again, such a pity.

Delicious continental breakfast with an assortment of local baked goods, yogurt, fruit, toast with jam, juice and cappuchinos. Served poolside in a gorgeous flowering garden. Hosts always available at the push of a button. Hosts were very solicitous and helpful.

It had a swimming pool which was great at the end of a hot day. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast generous. Good view of Spello. Very convenient for old town centre and railway station. There was also a little balcony.

The accommodation was comfortable, very clean and well air conditioned. The host was very welcoming and friendly. Parking was easy and free. It was a genuine 200m stroll to the delightful centre of Spello. The pool was fantastic!!! Highly recommended.

Pool towels would have been useful - even at an extra charge.

Struttura in ottima posizione per visitare il centro di Spello a piedi e vicino ad Assisi raggiungibile in auto in soli 15 minuti.....ottima l'accoglienza molto gentile Alessandro... l'ambiente molto pulito e ottima la colazione....la camera che avevamo noi molto pulita un bel bagno grande e un gran bel televisore che in altre strutture non avevano.....consiglio a chi vuole soggiornare

Alessandro super ospitale e disponibile, struttura molto bella, pulita e accogliente con un balconcino privato molto carino. A due minuti dal centro di spello, ma comoda per spostarsi in macchina. La colazione dolce o salata molto abbondante è stata apprezzatissima, la possibilità di rilassarsi in piscina è una vera coccola.

Un angolo di paradiso

Tutto ottimo,posizione, praticamente nel centro storico di Spello,bellissima struttura con piscina,rinfrescante e rilassante dopo una giornata a camminare,colazione squisita e molto abbondante con torte e brioches diverse tutte le mattine. Alessandro e il papà Pietro due persone eccezionali,gentili e disponibili. Insomma ci si sente coccolati,come essere a casa. Consiglio vivamente

Wir kommen wieder

Sehr nettes B&B. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Alessandro empfangen. Das Haus liegt unmittelbar am Fuße der Stadt Spello. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus, den Ort konnte man sehr schnell zu Fuß erreichen. Dieses B&B ist sehr zu empfehlen, hat auch einen schönen Pool (den wir leider nicht nutzen konnten, weil es zu kalt war). Wunderschöne mittelalterliche Stadt, sehr sauber, alle Häuser mit vielen Blumen dekoriert (Città d'arte e dei fiori). Essen traumhaft (Wildschwein und Trüffel), Weine sehr gut (Sagrantino, Greghetto), das Olivenöl von sensationeller Qualität. Würden wir sofort wieder buchen.
