Decent hotel for budget conscious travelers

This is a decent hotel for budget conscious travelers. The place is clean and the architecture is interesting. It could use a bit of tender loving care. The website claims a roof-top restaurant. It's actually just some tables on the roof where you can have room service delivered. The room service menu is fairly extensive and the food was very good. We had a room with 4 beds. The room was pretty large and didn't feel cramped or crowded. The hotel manager was nice. I actually had a small issue with the previous hotel where I had stayed and the manager at Krishna Palace helped me get it resolved. He was very helpful.

The hotel is located a bit far from any markets or bazaars. If you need/want to do some local shopping you will need to arrange for transportation. The bedding was clean but some of the sheets / pillow covers were a bit worn. Probably to be expected given the price point of this hotel.

My stay was disappointing due to poor amenities and comfort, despite the staff being polite.

Location of the property, paid food and staff.

This property feels more like a guest house than a typical hotel. The beds were uncomfortable, and several basic amenities were missing. The toiletries provided were of very low quality, no in room tea bags with kettle provided, and the blankets appeared dusty, which affected the overall comfort of the stay. While the staff were polite and helpful, the overall experience fell short of expectations.

My late check out was confirmed at 1200 noon and inspite the hotel took out our luggage at 1100 hrs in our absence without information and was kept at the reception.

Nothing.

The room was rather small than its showing in pics. No exhaust fan in the washroom. No cleaning. Hot water took 15 minutes and wastage of 3 buckets of water. Room was not cleaned properly and maintained very poorly
