Camera semplice ma molto pulita con condizionatore.

Friendly staff, okay accommodations.

We couldn’t take the bus— it apparently didn’t run on Sunday— which meant we were a long distance, though walkable, from a restaurant. OTOH, we ended up walking to the Archaelogical park, which after flying from San Francisco, was a good idea.

great check in - place i locals a bit out of the way but catch the local bus to the actual Town of Ostia and it is quite good fun. We had an evening mean and breakfast at the downstairs shop and both were good.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It feels like a very authentic Italian, family-run BNB.

When the taxi driver was taking me over from the airport, he asked me why I booked something in the middle of nowhere. I had thought that this place was near the airport, but it was really about a 20-minute taxi away. The town Ostia Antica is really remote, and by public transportation it took me 3.5 hrs to get into Rome. There are other places much closer to the airport. There was also no 'reception' area, and if I hadn't run into the cleaning lady, I wouldn't have known who to talk to for the check-out. There is a bar next door that seems to be owned by the same owners of the BNB, but there was no one who spoke English and it was difficult to communicate. The free breakfast was just a small pastry and coffee at the bar, nothing substantial to hold me over.
