Such an excellent choice for bikers and hikers on the Alpe Adria Trail.

After 10 days on the Alpe Adria Trail, one of our favorite stays! 1. Great hostess. Gave us plenty of great tips for an enjoyable, albeit short stay. 2. Gave us a Kärnten card that saved us a lot of money at the Schwimbad and the nearby Seilbahn. 3. Let us store our backpacks for the day while we hiked the surrounding trails.

1. The Tauren Bahn is just outside the pension and our friends did not like the sound of trains at night. Our windows were closed and we didn’t hear a thing. Light sleepers may disagree.

Our hosts at Pension Jägerhof were extremely nice and welcoming. Excellent hiking tips were provided. The accommodations were spotless inside and out. The location was super!

Atmosphere felt like home. Very friendly and accommodating staff, excellent breakfast. We were given advice on restaurants which were within walking distance.

Great base for skiing, or hiking, charming atmosphere. Nice little town center 5 minute walk away.

Simple breakfast, the proprietors where at hand to acommodate special needs. It's a German-type of breakfast, so don't expect much more than coffee, bread, cheese, ham and soft-boiled eggs, maybe some jam and müsli. You get free entrance to the town's swimming pool and sauna, which is pretty decent. Ski bus is 3 min walk away, and train station is 15 min walk away.

Decoration on the hallway is, as the name implies, on the theme of hunting. So just be aware.

Sonja and Marta were very friendly and helpful. Every morning they made sure each guest was taken care of as far as things to do that day. The location is super convenient for the Alpe Adria Trail and eating at a restaurant in the town center.
