The location of the hotel is unique - inside Dalt Villa, right in the centre of Ibiza Old Town, and with a view of the marina to die for from our room. And across the whole town from the pool. Actually having a gorgeous pool with its own bar and service was like having your own rooftop oasis from the summer heat. And again, very unusual in the middle of the old town. It was quiet, secluded and felt luxurious without being overtly pretentious. The staff likewise were attentive and super-friendly and down-to-earth. No snootiness despite the high-end standard of the hotel / well-heeled guests. A particular note of thanks to Isabel and Ali on reception and Javier and Fernando as bell boys for really looking after us - thank you so much. It felt more like leaving family when we left! There was a mix of families, friends and couples staying which also felt comfortable as it didn't feel just like a romantic honeymoon-style resort (which it could easily be). We didn't eat formally here but ordered a pizza, mozzarella/tomato salad and a tortilla by the pool on our first evening and all were absolutely delicious. We also noted that the restaurant, which looked intimate and had a fantastic view and from the laughter spilling out of it, people were having a great time. The decor is really distinctive and charming with its patterned tiles and beautiful, rambling planting. It was a lovely experience just wandering around. And the little bar on the street level also serves nice cocktails. Overall, we will definitely come back as we loved it. We'd just try and book a larger room.
We took the last room available and paid a discounted rate (£921 for 3 nights vs £1650 cited elsewhere). But it's still a lot for what really was a small double. The bed took up almost the entire room (albeit a very comfortable sleep) and so we cracked our legs off the corners a few times getting around it. The main issue is that there is virtually no storage space. The wardrobe contains a fridge (nice touch that water and Coke included free of charge) and a safe and these take up the lower half of any hanging space. So you are forced to hang long clothes on the window handle or mirror and to keep half your clothes in your case, which I don't love doing! We were in quite a muddle by the second day! I'm not sure how we'd manage if we were staying for longer. Likewise, the bathroom had a gorgeous, massive shower but very limited space to put any belongings. Also note there are a lot of stairs. The hotel is divided into 3 sections and whist I saw a stair-lift in the main building, I didn't in the one where we stayed. I didn't mind personally as it's all beautifully finished and well worth the climb for the view and also a great workout. But there were at least 5 flights of steep stairs on the way up to our room, which simply wouldn't be viable for some people.

Incredible location, 3-4minute walk downhill to Old Town restaurants. Wonderful hotel with a gorgeous pool area. The beds were huge and bedding super comfy. Le Labo toiletries which felt like a real luxury.
The only improvement would be some parasols in the pool area as it can be hard to catch shade at times.
