Severely underrated gem in the best parts of Kuta

Clean rooms, amazing staff, insanely good location and affordable

Mini fridge didnt work on arrival, turns out staff just turned it off and forgot to turn it back on, honestly my fault!

My stay was comfortable, convenient, and hassle-free.

The owner is exceptionally communicative and accommodating. Payment arrangements are flexible, meaning that there is no requirement to pay in advance or pay as you stay. The hotel is conveniently located very close to restaurants, shopping centers, and massage and spa services.

Whenever I come to Bali, I usually stay at Flora. I honestly didn’t find anything to dislike. Everything was smooth and satisfactory.

Location. Good Warung directly opposite hotel.

Dirty shower. Aged property. Some staff friendly, some staff unfriendly. Breakfast quality at hotel was poor, better to eat at Warung directly opposite - good quality and cheap.

Rooms are spacious, you don’t realize until you’re in a tiny room that the pictures make it look big. Staff is awesome and you see the same faces year after year

Good stay for a good price but Kuta is really busy.

Beds were big and comfortable.

Showerhead was not properly connected so you had to keep it in your hand to not spray only on the wall.

It was a nice stay with normal facilities, latenight guests have problem to get food/dinner nearby.

Some Taxi drivers pick-up the visitors from Airport and use small street to reach the Hotel that makes so strange for the visitors. Please note and take it serius, talk taxi drivers to come through main road to show Bali good roads and beautiful infrstructures to visitor with an easy accessable way.

We didn't like to arrive Flora Kuta Hotel through small and conjested streets.

One of my favourite hotels!

I love this place - I come back every time I visit Kuta. The staff are so kind, the facilities are good with comfortable beds, nice balconies, water, towels and toiletries etc. The pool is also lovely.

Wifi can be dodgy in some rooms. Also a little further out from Kuta centre but it has many shops nearby and can get a bike anywhere. Would be nice to have a fridge and kettle.

All rooms face the pool area, which can get noisy when guests sit outside talking late into the night. You can also hear sounds from neighboring rooms, so it might be a good idea to bring earplugs.

All in all I would recommend this stay it’s a fair price for what you get.

The rooms were nice and and got cleaned every day the property is within walkable distance to the beach and access to the city in walking distance as well.

Sometimes you hear other guests and the WiFi was poor in some evenings.

Great value for money in a good location

This is my third time staying here and as always, the customer service is great. The staff are so friendly and will help with anything you need. The room itself is lovely - the bed is super comfortable and I was provided with daily housekeeping. The pool area is peaceful too. The location is great - not too busy and still accessible to shops, warungs and the beach.

The only downside is not having a fridge and kettle in the room.

The great Flora!

The Dutch restaurant nearby was nice to finally have a frikandel speciaal! Also the swimming pool at the hotel. Chef Bagus was fantastic with his food and his training course.

The busy traffic was shocking.

It was just ok

I couldn't control the smart TV no sound. The swimming pool was very clean and cute. The hotel is 50 years old. Don't expect alot. No phone. No room service. Just a basic stay. Bathroom was good clean. Bed seemed Ok Very difficult location. I got lost. Quiet street. Quiet hotel, no roosters, but plenty of pets, dogs, cats around. It's a real Balinese experience this hotel. Very Very old but clean.

No lift and no ramp for suitcase. Steep stairs.

Great budget hotel if you ignore that it needs some TLC

Location everything is close by. Closer to the airport than most places in Kuta but far enough away to have no noise. As it is down a lane off Bakung Sari it is very quiet. The layout of rooms around a lovely cool pool

Rooms are very tired especially bathrooms needing some re-newing/updating Flooring needs replacing and curtains could be updated

The location of the hotel is very central. Easy access to beaches and malls. The hotel is clean and neat, and they are currently doing renovations which shows interest in the general maintenance. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful as best as they could. They showed interest and gave me options. We were fortunate to have booked a room that opens to the pool and was all round a very comfortable stay.

The WiFi was appalling. The connectivity was so poor that there were long periods where I had no internet. I needed to do some work whilst away and chose this place because it offered WiFi and the overall reviews of the place was good. To my dismay, instead of extending my stay because of the staff, location and general upkeep of the place I had to leave and find a more suitable establishment for my connectivity purposes. This was the ONLY downside, and while the staff did their best to accommodate me, nothing seems to solve the problem. The hotel has a router that is placed in the lobby and the frequency does not extend to the rooms at all levels and at all times. So, if you will need WiFi for work reasons, this would not be the establishment to assist in that regard. I see they are revamping the place, and I hope that the poor Wifi capability would be addressed soon. If I do not need the Wifi as badly as I do on some of my travels, I WOULD book at this place any day!

Location and close to the airport. Second time staying, good value for money if on a budget.

The rooms are a little worn. We have stayed before a year ago and the bathrooms have aged, shower screens have alot of soap build up.

Great value if there’s availability

Location is close to kuta art market and its nearby beach for sunsets especially. It’s on cut through street with low scooter traffic. All the rooms are around the center swimming pool on two floors, and set back from the street, and have private or shared balcony/terrasse area with table and chair. The ac worked well and the curtains actually block out the light, which is rare in bali. Bed quality with duvet (most in bali) let me have the best restful sleep of my trip despite the heavy rains in my back bedroom 29 upstairs.

The pool water could have been clearer. Not sure if they put too much or not enough chlorine.
