The bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The reception area also looked very clean and presentable.
The area the hotel was located in.

Staff at reception (and bar) were just absolutely wonderful!
Our room was dirty, the floor was sticky, the windows were covered in smudge, we could barely look through them. It was windy and the windows weren’t isolated, giving an extremely annoying sound. We barely slept. We wanted to have a drink outside and enjoy the last sun in Capetown. No nice cafe with terrace or rooftop at walking distance. All the hotel had was a terrace facing a parking garage. Extremely disappointing Hilton experience.

The property is fair. We stayed in the loft suite, the toilet door in the bedroom opened awkwardly, it opens inwards and hits the toilet so you must squeeze in to get into the toilet, found it very strange. Other than that, really not a bad place to stay
Breakfast could do with upping the standard

Your logistics staff and security found them very helpful. Thank you for providing transport to go and buy a suitcase. The driver and logistics manager was very helpful. I appreciate. I felt safe which is very important for me.
The glitch with WiFi

Very normal hotel, rooms are small but comfortable enough.
My bedside lamp was disintegrating from old age, shower drainage wasn't great, analogue aircon was guesswork

Staff were amazing, helpful and friendly.
We stayed here prior to starting our Nomad overland adventure and it was very handy for that reason.
You can request a table mountain view room - would definitely suggest this as the other option is a desolate field with rubbish and men waiting around in cars.
Shuttle to the V&A waterfront was handy!
Quality didn't match the price. Pretty expensive for a hotel in a rough-ish area. We had worn towels with holes in them and a leaking shower and hand basin.

Getting eggs at breakfast takes way too long. There’s no eggs available at the buffet and have to be done by the chef on the hot plate. I was at breakfast for 30mins and gave up in the end on the eggs. Understandable if it was busy, but it wasn’t.

The location is good if one needs proximity to the airport, Groote Schuur or UCT.
I had made a booking on booking.com and later added on a night directly with the hotel. A month after my stay, I happened to log into my Hilton Honours profile. To my absolute shock I saw that I had a booking pending for Dec-Jan 2026 (arguably the most expensive time of year in Cape Town), complete with my credit card details. I had made no such booking. I called the hotel to ask when/how this booking was made and they said that it was through booking.com. I said there was no record of this on booking.com or email and asked for the booking to be cancelled, which the hotel did. To date, I’ve received no feedback as to how/why this came about but it was very distressing. Had I not checked my Hilton Honours profile (which I rarely do), the amount may have been (possibly fraudulently) deducted from my credit card account. I have to change my credit card as a result. Given this experience, I would be very wary of staying here again or recommending the hotel to others.
My stay itself was disappointing. The room service options were very limited. I had ordered some toast during my stay, it arrived without any butter or condiments which gave the impression of minimal effort on the part of the hotel. The restaurant is also hesitant to accommodate special requests (for vegetarians for instance). I read that there is a mall within the hotel building, I found that this was incorrect. There are a few stores and take away places at the entrance. Upon entering, there is a strong food odour in the hotel which is not pleasant and not the standard expected from Hilton in other locations. Lastly, the surrounding area is not particularly safe and I wouldn’t advise walking in this area, particularly at night.
