Short stay in Neum

Big resort but we had very quiet room and not so many people around if you choose little bit different timing than bigger groups. There is beach in walking distance so you have to buy sun lounger and we used loungers during the whole day so it was OK to leave the beach and come back later. There is big parking place but it was quite full but we managed to find place and everything solved.

At breakfast there were big groups and it as pretty crowded. There are long corridors to walk but it was not problem at all!

It was okay, not great

The hotel is in a great spot..

But the staff feels like they are just there for a paycheck. Not really happy to be there. The food is not too great. They serve the exact same meals every single day. The baked goods use the exact same batter, regardless if its a pancake or a waffle or bread. They all taste the same. Over priced drinks

Some members of the staff were very raciest also there is no coffee bar at the room no open and they couldn’t provide us with any. There’s is no enough parking.

a pleasant stay in nice hotel with great view, roof pool and good food

large apartment, comfortable bad, nice balcony with sea view. infinity pool on the roof and the other half-closed pool are very popular. food was good. staff pleasant and supportive.

slippery floor in the shower cabin in combination with overall weak lighting in the bathroom makes bathroom a dangerous spot for elderly in particular. beach chairs have covered every inch of the rather small beach in front of the hotel which is always very crowded.

Everything was just perfect! The food was delicious and there are so many variations every day. The personal was kind and helpful. The rooms with sea view just amazing and clean. The location was pretty central. Also the Spa and the massages were wonderful.

The only sad point was that the area where the infinity pool is close’s at 20 o’clock. We wanted to take a picture of the beautiful view with the sunset and the personal was really pissed although it was 5 minutes before closing.

Access to the beach is not baby stroller friendly. You ride elevator than have two steep hills to go to beach (two times there was ramp so we needed to carry stroller, no long but nevertheless)

Fair experience for an overnight stay.

Breakfast buffet was great, so many options to please everyone. Location was good too, not far from the beach.

I stayed during the month of May which is not high season in Neum and which can be the reason why the hotel was operating at the low electricity level but we had no hot water in the shower and also our air conditioner was not working at all.

Terrible, arrogant stuff and unprofessional

breakfast was ok

Totally disappointed there was no Internet in my room! As I asked how that is possible and told them that I have work to do and need internet, they told me on the reception: if you dont have internet, you dont have, we cant help. I was walking like an idiot at the lobby and floors trying to catch some wifi. I didnt want to argue and thanks God I booked just one night. For warm water in the shower I had to wait like 10 minutes

Bad

The view is the only good thing

Nonchalant staff, bar can not even make cocktails. For example In menu there is campari but impossible to get a campari spritz. They did though offer long drink. No snacks or apperizers could be offerd. No mini bar in the room. No room service. It was 25 degrees outside and they still had the heating on according to the staff" a excuse for having a broken air-conditioning system"and I was not even offered a fan. Manage to get some ice in the bar "from super Nonchalant staff" and could not get tap water and was not offered a complimentary water bottle. Bar staff is Nonchalant and dose barly speak English.No iron in the room. They offered iron service but no information how to get the service. The information "booklet" has been used by atleast 1000+ guest and nust in local language. The tobacco shop in the hotel only take cash and the employee is Nonchalant and dose not speak English. The hotel breakfast was a joke, more similar to a 2 star hotel and dishes full on all tables outside. The toiletries in the room are on a 3 star hotel standard. The roof top pool was super cold and could not be enjoyed. The indoor pool on floor 3 "the salty pool" was okay but half was closed of due to damage on the pool floor as it had not been maintained and had cracks that you could cut yourself on. Upon checking out i was not even asked how my stay was, was just handed a bill of nearly 200 euro to pay. Only positive with the stay was the staff in the spa reception who was super kind, the view and the free parking. For a hotel that cost over 120 euro per night in Bosnia and Herzegovina you can find both cheaper and better. For example Stayed in a apartment hotel the day after 5 star service super modern comfy bed 5 star toiletries and complimentary minibar for just 50 euro. Grand Hotel Neum dose not deserve the name and nevertheless 4 stars. Take your money and spend else where.

Breakfast and dinner can be packed with incoming big groups, so be ready to queue a bit. The staff is really doing a great job, but due to the great number of people in the hotel sometimes the overview and personal caretaking is a bit lost.

Pool is good by view but dirty. Food is good but no free drink at dinner (even water). Location great and elevator to sea level is great comfort. Staff is friendly.

No free sunbed for the beach and beach area of the hotel is very narrow, so never used the beach area, tried to find a better beach area around Neum everyday. There is an annoying music in front of the hotel until 0, couldnt open window so until midnight. No free tea/coffee in room. For a stay of a week, the roomkeepers only gave shampoo one or two times. For overall it was ok but a disappointment for the biggest hotel in Neum.
