Staff were wonderful; attentive, respectful, and went above and beyond to help your stay be the best it could be. The location was great. Had a private beach with your own beach chairs, but not too far from the local beach. Beautiful back patio, beautifully decorated.

Not too much parking. They however allowed us to park in the one garage that they had, but otherwise not too much of parking. Understandably for the location and high density of tourists.

Nice property for private beach access in Neum.

Good location with private beach, everyone had sun bed. Parking with reservation was good. Breakfast was small but made with good quality ingredients so it was delicious. Property itself is good size and nice cozy! Breakfast area is cute.

Room was at street view, was small and not fully renovated. Needs more work. Old AC, no hangers, leak in bathroom, door lock didn’t work properly. No proper seating furniture for 3 people. This room should not be for 3 adults but needs renovating also.

Absolutely Outstanding – A Perfect Stay in Neum! Will be returning!

Our stay at this incredible location in Neum was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed, comfortable, and truly cared for. A special shout-out to Bojan and Damir, who kindly helped us with our bags and were always available with a smile. And although I didn’t catch her name, the cleaning lady deserves a massive thank-you – the place was immaculately clean every single day. It was clear how much pride they take in maintaining such a pristine environment. The apartment we stayed in was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had an amazing view of the ocean that allowed us to soak in all the beauty Neum has to offer. Waking up to that view each morning was such a treat! The bed was extremely comfortable, which made it even easier to relax and enjoy our time there. The location itself is perfect – peaceful, relaxing, and right on the water. We had private beach access with our own chairs, which made every day feel like a luxury experience. Everything we needed for the entire week was right there – we truly didn’t have to leave for anything. The breakfasts were delicious every morning, and the restaurant below quickly became our favorite spot (and only spot!) to eat. Every dish we tried was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The restaurant was also spotless, just like everything else. They even arranged our parking, which meant we didn’t have to worry about our car at all throughout our stay – a small but hugely appreciated detail. This wasn’t just a great stay – it was an unforgettable experience. We were so impressed by the warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality of everyone involved. Without a doubt, we will be returning every single year. Highly, highly recommended! ☺️

The host was very welcomed (Bojan,Barbara and chambermaid) couldn’t do enough for you, we were well looked after, private beach with sunbeds,location excellent, super clean.

I didn't have a chance to find out

I booked this hotel many weeks before the arrival and when we arrived a receptionist said they had had 'a mess with reservations'. Then a dude came and drove us to a random hotel! They said sorry but later we found out why that happened. We got a hotel further away from this one and we passed by Villa Barbara 3 times, and each time we passed by we were noticing a tour bus from another country, so basically the hotel received a big group of tourists and they decided to kick us out without telling us in advance! They could have at least lied to us a couple of days upon arrival so we could find another accomodation, but we just didn't have a chance to choose! Disgusting!

Nice relaxing stay.

Nice, clean rooms, wonderful view, nice beach. Beach chairs included. Reacting quickly on our demands. Air condition worked well even though we have not used it much as weather was just perfect, not too hot. It is near to everything and still very quiet so we slept well. Beds and pillows ok, resto as well.

Even though it says hotel, our rooms were not cleaned except one day / one room on our request. Only towels were changed. Wifi didn’t work well at all. It was not a big issue for us.

Pleasant

Rooms were clean and there was a beautiful view but this property is not for those who have any physical issues. There were so many stairs to get in and out that my mother eventually just stayed in her room. Breakfast was not great (one kind of cereal, no oats, just orange juice but nit what you would image orange juice to be. There was no water to be had at breakfast. One major thing you need to know is that this host and 99% of Neum do not accept credit card payments as many don’t feel that they should not pay the government their dues (taxes) so be ready and bring a nice big stash of cash. Hosts were great and available.

The stairs for a senior citizen with disabilities :(. Form of payment expected.

The hotel was beautiful on very nice place in neum. It was so clean and the stuff were so nice and helpful. We had our private beach with the sun beds that the guest from the hotel can only use, that was very nice and comfortable. They have restaurant near the beach if you like to eat something. The food there was delicious
