Amazing find next to Lovina. Owned and managed by a Danish chef means the food was exceptional from breakfast to dinner. Service was top quality and location was great. Free shuttle service to Lovina was very convenient.

A property of peaceful serenity while being catered to by a caring staff that would go out of their way when necessary. The meals were delicious and served by candlelight around the pool area.

I would love more F&B options , there’s only one restaurant on the property and the menu can be a bit limiting if you are staying 3 nights or more .

This was the most gorgeous place to stay. The facilities and staff were beyond exceptional. The food was endless and to the highest quality. The sunsets into the vista, the infinity pool, the massages and the early morning yoga only added to the overall experience. If you are looking for a place that holds everything, we highly recommend. Thank you to the Damai for having us to stay.

There is not one thing I could stay I didn’t like.

We stayed 3 nights in the Damai, in one of the villas with private pool. The accommodations were truly fantastic and the domain is very well maintained. When entering the lobby, the first thing you see is the open swimming pool with an amazing view, located near the bar and restaurant. After check-in we were guided to our room, an amazing villa with private pool and with full privacy garden. The room is nice, very clean, with an outdoor shower and bath. They staff cleans the room every day, and comes by multiple times a day, to open the window covers in the moring (when you're at breakfast), clean and make up bed, close the covers in the evening and prepare bed for sleep, or bring fresh fruits. Overall the staff of the Damai is so friendly and welcoming, the restaurant serves great food and breakfast. This was truly a remarkable stay and I would definitely recommend staying in the Damai if you're looking for rest and calmed. Thank you, I would really like to come back one day.

The setting is great, also for a relaxing massage, but I found the price for the massages to high. There are many places in Bali to get a good Balinese massage in a great setting. I think lowering the price (to make it more competitive), would increase the number of massages given.

One that touches you, lingers, and calls you back. Many try to offer a familial atmosphere, but at The Damai, it feels genuine, natural, and unmatched. An absolute must for anyone seeking a unique blend of luxury, peace, world-class cuisine, and heartfelt hospitality.

Excellent service and personal attention from the staff. Food was sublime and could be adapted to personal preferences (although food in general is twice as expensive as comparable hotels like Hyatt). Very nice setup of the resort providing lots of privacy. Very good hotel driver/taxi.

Remote location, with no or very few reliable restaurants in the vicinity. Hotel rooms need maintenance (bird/insect activity above ceiling due cavities in roof). CC deposit required upon prepaid check-in.

Beautiful villa with the pool. Fresh fruit and filtered water, tea, and coffee were complimentary. The villa was cleaned twice a day. There were plenty of choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff was very friendly and professional and did their outermost to help us whenever needed. A big thank you to them! If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, combine spa days with unique excursions, the Damai is the place to be.

The only negative comment I wish to make is it is aprox 2.5 km from the local town Lovina. The hotel did provide a courtesy bus from 7am to 6pm which was great.

Beautiful tropical oasis in the hinterland of Lovina Beach with views to the ocean. Excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. Helpful, friendly and attentive staff.

The staff were very attentive and helpful! Very friendly and make you feel at home. The location is remote and serene for a very calming and peaceful stay with stunning views everywhere you look. The housecleaning is also very attentive and everyday the room gets cleaned and tidied up multiple times so you always come back to paradise. Loved the stay and would 1000% recommend a stay in this lovely resort. Will definitely be coming back to it next time we are in Bali.

Outstanding service, food and facilities

Fantastic property with lovely furnishings. Staff are super helpful. The best hot stone massage and facial I have had for a long time. Food is wonderful and varied. Just a really super place.

Perhaps the cocktails could be less expensive which may encourage people to drink more of them 😉

We were the first guests to arrive after the property was re-opened following a three-year closure and were treated as such. They could not have done more to make us feel welcome.

The villa had a terrific view and great infinity pool and was finished to a high standard, the staff were very attentive and genuine. The owner Nils was a terrific host and we very much enjoyed his company. It is a lovely place to stay and a great experience.

Magnifique établissement. Notre chambre était très spacieuse et décorée avec gout. Le personnel adorable et prestations haut de gamme. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le massage de bienvenue dans un spa magnifique et les petits-déjeuners dignes d'un brunch (l'option healthy était top) dans un cadre luxeux avec une belle vue.

Comme indiqués par les autres hôtes, le restaurant et les prestations (massage) sont assez chers (mais dignes d'un très bon resto en France). Cela oblige à trouver d'autres solutions pour les repas alors que le cadre et le personnel sont vraiment au top. Dommage !

Tolle Unterkunft, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal durchwegs sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Vom Frühstück bis zum Nachtessen, einfach exzellente Küche!! Sehr ruhig und es fährt regelmässig ein Shuttle nach Lovina.

Das Damai ist ein ganz besonderes Schmuckstück in den Hügeln von Lovina. Extrem schön und gut gepflegte Anlage mit tollen Zimmern. Sehr hochwertig ausgestattet und ein Frühstück und Abendessen der Spitzenklasse. Täglicher kostenloser Shuttleservice ins Zentrum inkl Abholservice sind im Preis inbegriffen. Das gesamte Personal ist auf Topniveau und alles in allem ist das Damai eines der besten Hotels auf Bali wenn man in Ruhe entspannen möchte. Auch das Spa ist auf gleichem Niveau!! Wirklich ein absoluter Geheimtipp für Ruhesuchende!

Es gibt wirklich nichts zu bemängeln.

Sowohl die Lage als auch die Ausstattung der Unterkunft waren einzigartig. Das Design im Kolonialstil, das Pool, die Außenanlage und die Räumlichkeiten waren für uns absolut top. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war unglaublich schön.

Es gab nichts auszusetzen

Bereits beim Betreten des Hotels spürt man, das es etwas Besonderes ist. Das Personal ist extrem zuvorkommend, die einzelnen Villen geschmackvoll und großzügig eingerichtet. Das Frühstück und auch alle Gerichte der Speisekarte sind vorzüglich. Der Spabereich wird sehr gut geführt. Die Massagen sind sehr professionell und die Yogaklassen ein Highlight. Wir waren jetzt das 2. Mal da und werden wiederkommen

Das Wasser des Hauptpools ist sauer und reizt die Augen.

Nous avons trouvé que le restaurant était cher (mais très bon, restaurant gastronomique) et que les activités proposées par l’établissement restaient onéreuses aussi.
