The hotel is dated, but decent, though the hosts not in fluent communication.

Location is very nice, spacious parking, a lot of space in territory for kids. Unfotunately could not use the pool because of the bad weather. Pillows very hard, beds not very comfortable. All in all, the rooms are dated, but decent. It was spacious for kids.

Not a lot of information provided by staff. No breakfast provided, though mentioned in the description. There was no people in reception, and the hosts were not very accessible.

Low budget facility

Location of the building is really good, about 5mins of walking to the lake Pool next to the building (cold water) Price was really good for location

Very used equipment and furniture, broken parts or missing. Pool not cleaned for couple of days. Paper thin walls so you could hear and understand your neighbors or hear when they plug in mobile phone. no AC so it is so hot inside and difficult to sleep.

Grat price-performance ratio apartments with large pool

We have already stayed here several times. The price-performance ratio is very good. The apartments were clean and equipped with basic furnishings and facilities, everything was working fine this time. In our opinion, the house has one of the largest hotel pools in Riva and the green territory around the pool is nice. The house is located not far from the beach but has somewhat quieter location, surrounded partly with gardens. There is an underground bike parking with elevator, so one has good feeling about the safety leaving a bike in this area.

The overall maintenance and renovation level is very lousy and low. Soundproofing could be better. There are no basic kitchen equipment for short or first night stay. When the apartment house is full, there are shortages of parking places, if one manages to come somewhat late.

Overall we enjoyed the stay at Lake Garda.

Location was good. Relatively close to the lake and to the shops. Old town was 20 mins walk but it did not bothered me. Friendly staff easy to deal with if we had any questions

Old rooms. Could do with a serious refurb. The pool itself was good but again the surroundings require a bit of investments. No aircon in the room. We stayed for a week mid summer and the temperatures were exceeding 35 during the day

Good place for economy stay at Garda lake

Residence Monica is located in a very good place - not far from the lake, in the walking distance to shopping mall, however it's quite far from the old city center. The swimming pool is very nice. Apartment has a small terrace with chairs and table.

There is no air-conditioning in the apartments and the fans are only in one bedroom and in the living room. The bedroom for kids didn't have a fan and it was really hot in there. You need to take the hand soap and dishwashing liquid with you -the apartment didn't have them. Also, some of the dishes and cuttlery were not clean.

We stayed in 2 rooms - penthouse and one on ground level. The penthouse was perfect.

Location was good and overall apartment was a good size.

Bunk bed room didn’t have much ventilation and the safety bar on the top bunk wasn’t very secure so my daughter felt unsafe sleeping on it.

Amazing stay in Riva del Garda

We stayed in apartment number 25, 2nd floor - but there’s a lift working really well. The view is on an amazing mountain plus swimming pool in the garden and vineyards in the backgrounds. Spectacular one, I need to add. The apartment itself is very clean and well-equipped. There are two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchenette as well as a bathroom. Beds are comfortable with white fresh linen. We travel with our 2 yo son and we got a baby bed (out of charge) what was amazing. In the kitchen you can find everything to cook a quick lunch - pans and frying pan as well. There’s also a kettle and a microwave to heat the dish. The balcony is quite specious and can accommodate 4 people easily. It’s very close to the shops and a Coop supermarket - about 6 mins walk and about 10 mins walk to Lake Garda. I would also like to add that Elena - who checked us in - has been very helpful thought all our stay, it’s been easy to communicate with her through WhatsApp, she explained everything to us so that our stay was peaceful and restful. Hope to get back here in the future. 😌

I’ve stayed at ambassador hotel before (one next door) and utterly regret not booking that one again

Location was the only good point.

Room was filthy. All contact by WhatsApp. No cleaning whatsoever. Pictures do not reflect current state of property. I’ve stayed in better hostels. Pool was very murky.

The apartments are spacious and bright. Everything was perfectly clean, fresh crisp bedding and scented towels. Clean bath room. The renovation is old, but thanks to the cleanliness, the stay was super comfortable, thank you very much

Met our expections and the staff is very friendly, best location for sports people

Pool was due to the spring time not used Location is good, we walked and cycled to all destintions, we didn´t used our car. Residence Monica has a washing machine & dryer you can use for 4€ - best for us as we cycled and ran in Riva, we needed to wash our sport dress. All perfect for sports people. Also a locked bicycle basement is existing.

All ok - we like it and come back as we did since 2019 - we don´t have any complains.

Vacation near Garda Lake

Location - 500 m by walk to Garda Lake and around 20 min by walk to the city center, apartments located in very quite area. Available free parking onsite.

The rooms definitely needs renovation, pictures from booking.com are not showing current conditions of the room. Very old furniture, not working properly shower cabin and purely equipment kitchen.

Terrible Monica...

Nothing. The building and rooms are very outdated. If you like the atmosphere of the 1970's then probably this appartement is the one for you. My suggestion would be: tear the building down and build something new that is more suited for the 21st century.

Everything. We booked for 4 nights, but left after the first night.. - mold everywhere - floors were dirty - they've "upgraded" the size of the double bed (130 x 190) by placing a bigger matras over it... - shower cabin very tiny, outdated, leaking, molded. Run! - kitchen counter edges broken - not even a single interior decoration item. You feel more at home in a prison cell. - the floor was in a very bad state / loose parquet floor - terrace fourniture is broken - the roller shutters were not all working. One broke during closing. However, it did light up the room ;)

A good place for a family vacation

A good place for a family vacation. Great location - very close to beaches, cafes, old town. Spacious room, large pool in the yard.

Uncomfortable beds. There is no air conditioner. There is only one air fan in the room, it is not possible to share other rooms for all family members. The floor covering in the living room is broken and needs to be repaired. Children are not allowed to jump in the pool. It takes all the fun out of it.

Very good value for money

Good location in quiet area not far from lake, shops and ice cafés. Large and great terraces/ balconies on two facade sides with great view on surrounding mountains and lake. Larger than most hotels swimming pool and garden around. Good and adequate priced coffee in house's café. Helpful staff.

The property is Getting a bit old and needs some minimal renovation. Lots of things partly broken or falsely and lazy repaired. Poor soundproofing in rooms.
