I didn’t like it. Not nice. Not worth the money.

1. So hot. No electric fan or aircon during Summer. 2. Far from the Cochem center. 3. Breakfast was redundant. All same every single day. 4. No fridge inside the room to keep your food. Mind you, Grocery store is very far from the place. 5. My room is at the top end of the building. I had a big luggage. There’s no elevator.

a pleasant stay

the property has a beautiful view and is in a beautiful place. the breakfast was superb and the host was very helpful. the room was very small but very clean.

the hotel was all locked up which caused me some stress initially. but that was resolved. I was put on the top floor which was about 40 steps with my baggage which was difficult.

disappointing really. when we returned from our evening meal approx 8pm Hotel locked up so no drinks etc.

we were in an annex which requires updating, rooms very outdated and on suite poor. The Wi-Fi was none existent. Staff were fine.

Excellent value for money at Pension Doren

A very warm welcome when I arrived late by bicycle, having been caught by heavy rain! Friendly staff Lovely room with a nice view over the Mosel. Excellent breakfast. Excellent value for money.

Basic budget hotel, good stay for visiting the Mosel area.

Delicious buffet breakfast, good coffee and fresh baked breads from their own bakery.

Worst place ever that I have used via Booking.com

Breakfast was ok all the usual fare for a continetal breakfast, the only other thing was the location right on the river.

Rooms were dated and require updating, lack of WIFI as soon as the Cafe closed the public rooms also closed which meant no WIFI available. Certainly one member of staff will require re training as he was very abusive to my friend and to my wife. Along with a Scottish couple who only stayed one night. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

The comfortable position and all the rest.

We were travelling with small group of the friends and we were searching the room for 1 night and I am glad for my choice. I see only positive points as our expectations were only for clean room and the room was very clean, comfortable bed and amazing panoramic view on the river, the place was central with free parking, which is also big plus. The breakfast was very good, with eggs, salami, fresh bread, croissants. Fantastic place!

Passable

I looked for a budget location and got it. The breakfast was nice and the staff were very pleasant. I didn’t get bitten by mosquitoes, it was near a good Imbiß and a decent pizza place. If you open the window for ventilation (No fan/air con) you have full access to drunks and their dogs barking and arguing until around 0100. Which was entertaining 😄 and the front door key was an amusing shape.

No WiFi after 1800, when the staff go home and this also means no food or drink until morning. Dated decoration, gloomy, cramped bathroom. No fan, no air conditioning. Door detached from wardrobe.

Ein Haus welches ein paar Jahre gesehen hat, jedoch sehr sauber.

Freundliche Inhaber und sehr leckeres Frühstück. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber.

Leider konnte man den Eingang nicht leicht finden. Evtl könnte der Inhaber alle Telefonnummern die nicht mehr aktuell sind im Außenbereich entfernen. Jedoch nach ein paar Anrufen haben wir die Richtige gefunden.

Ligging uitstekend in een schilderachtig Moesel stadje. De ontvangst door de familie die het hotel runt was geweldig. We konden meteen in onze kamers ondanks dat we te vroeg waren. We raakten meteen met ze in gesprek en kregen schnapps om te proeven. Ook gaven ze tips om uit te gaan. Een goed en een gezellige weinstube waar we tot midden in de nacht zijn geweest. Het hotel is nogal verouderd maar wel schoon, prima voor een nachtje. Het ontbijt was voldoende zonder overbodige poespas. Lekkere broodjes voldoende beleg koffie jus d'orange yoghurt. Wij betaalden voor 2 kamers (3 personen) € 138, waar vind je dat nog?

Die Lage hat uns sehr gefallen, sehr zentral. Wenn etwas benötigt wurde, hat man es direkt erledigt.

Hotelzimmer ist in die Jahre gekommen, Teppichboden sehr verbraucht und alt, Matratzen waren sehr durchgelegen

Lieber nicht noch mal...

Die Lage ist sehr schön. Von Moselufer nur durch eine Straße und einen vorgelagerten Parkplatz getrennt.

Spinnweben im Zimmer, in den Fluren und im Speisesaal. Nicht abschließbare Plastikfalttür zum Bad/Toilette. Defektes Mobiliar, Laminatboden mit Spalten verlegt. Beim Vorziehen der Vorhänge hat man diese auch gerne mal in der Hand ... Frühstück entspricht allenfalls einem zu erwartenden Mindeststandart. Bei angeschlossener Bäckerei kann man eine größere Gebäckauswahl zum Frühstück erwarten!

Für mich war es absolut i.O. und OK!

Die Buchung hatte ich kurzfristig vorgenommen, da die eigentliche Unterkunft, wo ich sonst abgestiegen bin, "schlicht nicht mehr erreichbar "war. Insofern habe ich mich über das Angebot gefreut u. war auch recht angetan von der Herberge.

Leider hatte die Küche an meinem Anreisetag geschlossen, was aber angesichts des Angebotes an gastron. Betrieben in der Umgebung durchaus erträglich war. Insofern kann der Ruhetag nicht wirklich als Nachteil gesehen werden.

Das Frühstück war nicht besonders, außer den frischen Brötchen. Man ist satt geworden, Kaffee sehr dünn.Kein Obst, kein Ei, sehr spartanisch. Gut war eine abschließbarer Raum für E-Bikes mit Lademöglichkeit.
