Location good and bar /restaurant staff were excellent

In poor repair , gym was dirty equipment in poor condition , changing rooms dated and poor quality . Upstairs the floorboards were so creaky any movement would wake us up - could hear everything next door or in the corridor . Breakfast was cold and stoggy

Breakfast was lovely,plenty choice and great service...staff were very friendly and courteous.

The Tower Hotel and Leisure Center was comfy, clean, and right next to the Viking Triangle, which we really appreciated. Recommend eating at The Reg across the street.

Nice hotel ruined by noise until 2:30am from neighbouring properties. Unconcerned and unresponsive attitude of staff to problem. Nice swimming pool!

On check-in we asked for a quiet room and were assured the room we were allocated was quiet. However, we were kept awake until 2:30am by noise of loud music a nightclub across the street from us. What we asked night duty staff to be moved to a quiet room, they refused claiming they were fully booked. When we challenged this, staff member promised to get back to us, but didn't. Also, car park was inadequate. We were assured free parking on booking.com, however, we were forced to use a local public car park as the hotel car park was full.

Location and comfortable

housekeeping. We got the keys to our room at 3.45 approx after we checked in and at 4.15 housekeeping manager entered our room with her own key and no knock and she said who gave you a key? She continued to stand there and discuss the room with us for 4-5 minutes . It was weird that she didn’t just excuse herself when she realised the room was occupied. She did tell us she didn’t check the room yet and asked was all ok but it goes to show how easily people can enter a room

This is a very comfortable hotel in a quieter area of Waterford city but within walking distance of great cultural heritage sites, restaurants, bars and shops.

The cleanliness in main areas could have been better but the room was very good

Comfortable elegant hotel with park close to Centre

Very large room, amenities, tea maker with lots of coffee/tea, perfect position in front of Reginald’s Tower and O’Sullivan pub and close to museums, large private park, nice reception, Leisure (gym) Space, nice price (148 euro x night king room )

Close to the centre. Clean. Comfy beds. Great views from the restaurant.

We booked a deluxe room and we didn’t get it. Shower door didn’t fit properly and we had to fix it ourselves. TV position didn’t make sense. It was facing the wall instead of the bed. Breakfast quite expensive for what you get. Reception staff wasn’t the friendliest. You can hear everything from the other rooms/corridor.

The staff were warm,friendly and helpful. Location is excellent and bed was very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were very good.

The room was a bit tired. We couldn’t work the bedside lamps. Asked the receptionist the next morning and she said there’s a tiny switch built into the lamps! A label on the lamp could resolve this easily. The TV was really poor. Only 1 channel was watchable. All the others had really poor reception. Not good enough for the price of the room and unacceptable in this day and age.
