Staff great. Location great

Terrible. The heating in the room was 35° . Unbelievable. The window would open a inch. It would not go down and a red light was flashing and lighting up the room. This started at 2.30am. Up all night trying to turn off. Drinking water. And both woke up with sore throats. Couldn't wait to get outside in the morning and didn't bother to shower. Went straight to the reception desk but after a wait no one turned up. Unbelievable We have stopped there plenty of times and that's the 1st we had this problem.

It was well organised and everything was on working condition 10/10 couldn’t debate about the price either perfect. Also the staff very well mannered caring and Js amazing people fun to talk and engage with

Very dated decor and furnitures. Had someone constantly smoking on the floor I was staying with the cigarettes smell constantly present in my room, had warned staff several times, but nothing was done (I assume it was staff who smoked). Poor quality of breakfast (cheap sausages, bread); eggs were not cooked, had to ask.

It is dated. The menu isnt great. The carpets were old and dirty. The room was cold. The restaurant was uninviting. The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable. I stay at Premier Inn next time Lighting in the room was broken

The staff are all so friendly ,polite . Nothing is too much . Care takers deals with any reparable issues promptly . Nice to experience happy staff in their commitment for the hotel .

Clean warm rooms. Saturdays breakfast well cooked.

Traffic noise. Draughty window. Sundays breakfast, overcooked but lukewarm, how we still don't know. This is a good budget hotel let down by no attention to detail.

Location to the motorway to the town perfect

It’s not as much as I didn’t like I just think some parts of the carpets were starting to look really grubby and the stair carpet could do to be cleaned more

Restaurant/bar did not open until 5.30 pm. Very noisy overnight, when we left their was police tape outside and a policeman in their car securing the scene

Filthy room with mould on the bathroom door. The carpet was messy and untidy.

Dirty carpets and bathroom. Staff were too busy and ignored me at the reception for a long time.

Breakfast was okay.

Would have liked an omelette but unfortunately wasn't offered this option. The Danish pastries were burnt.

Nice towels.

Bathroom wasn't clean. Hair on the floor and in the shower. Took pictures if you want them. The mattress was shockingly uncomfortable. I ended up using the spare pillows to try and make some form of a mattress topper. Worst nights sleep I have had in a hotel in a long time. Breakfast wasn't particularly hot. Dinner order took 3 attempts due to lack of produce (2 of the options were on the 'specials' but not available.) Staff were apologetic though. Wasn't asked at check out if everything was ok with my stay - which is pretty standard at most hotels. Had I been I would have happily given this feedback 1-2-1.

Everything, staff very polite and friendly

We had a quiet room with a bath as requested. The duty manager was very helpful and immediately changed it when we accidentally were assigned a room with a shower. Thank you for a great stay. We will happily return.

Very easy to find, simple but effective. Would definitely use again.

Price, location, friendly staff.

The carpet was very dirty, the room had a bad odour, the towls smelt musty and the shower plughole was blocked.

The staff, we have stayed here several times as my family all live in Wakefield. So it is nice to have a friendly greeting when we arrive. Sonny (hope i spelled it right) is an amazing young man and an asset to this hotel. But 2 members of staff on a Saturday night? Really? That's to run the bar, work reception, answer the phones and serve food! The other member of staff was cooking, clearing tables etc... not very fair that is it? We will keep coming thanks to Sonny and the staff but it certainly would not be the same if he wasn't there ...

Room was clean,

the stairwells could do with a clean a remove the cobwebs from the windows and corners

Room was comfortable, clean with no unwanted smells. Dinner was typical but good quality British fair.

The carpets throughout have engrained dirt, I see the hotel is often used by persons working in construction and other heavy services. But, the carpets coud do with a good shampoo. Also, one lift seems to be permanently out-of-order.

Quiet room, spacious, big shower. Had a window and a really effective heater. Free parking.

Room was stained. This included the ceiling, curtains and bedding as well as the towels as well as the chair. TV was tiny and rubbish which is pretty standard. The bed was so uncomfortable as were the pillows. There was dust everywhere and the bedside table was broken meaning my phone kept sliding off. I did not see a kettle or coffee. It might have been there, but hidden. Either way, did not use. The shower was dirty and the showerhead was fixed in place which I know is fairly standard but annoying. The sink was full of loo roll - make it make sense! On check-in no staff and on departure… no staff. There is no way to alert staff you are there. Absolutely extortionate for what a poor experience I had. Unfortunately though was the only place in the area I needed it for. So disappointed but we were too busy and tired to raise these things.

Staff was good,especially Steph she went above and beyond it was clean,bed was ok

Laminate had come away from worktop leaving sharpish edges, toilet was hard to flush ,no shower gel only one pillow each ,the heater didn’t work,but Steph fixed quickly This is not 4 star hotel.

Ease in finding parking, friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room.

Advertised as tea and coffee making facilities, but only kettle and mugs provided. No teabags or coffee satchets that all other hotels i have stayed in do provide.

There’s been a mistake in the booking app I ordered a twin room and was given a double as my wife has mobility problems to be told they don’t do twin room only to find out listening to a phone call the receptionist was offering someone a twin room the bed was a mess dirty lift was messy halls was messy I couldn’t stay there I want my money back

Messy dirty bed was a mess

One night bed and breakfast for single visitor. Reception staff welcoming, groundfloor room115 clean and spacious, elecric heater workng ,bed comfortable, tea/coffee. Bathroom bright, spotlessly clean, lashings of hot water, walk-in shower had two grab handles, fluffy towels even! Breakfast plentiful and certainly good enough.

Duvet a bit insubstantial and no additional covering available in room. Not a problem for me, as a single visitor I could fold the wide+ duvet double, so didn't need to ask reception for extra. Forgot to mention on departure!

Nice polite staff

Excellent staff. The room was just the right size and had all I needed.

The toilet paper was very poor quality. The toaster thingy didn't really do its job.
