I asked for a room with a bath as my partner has fibromyalgia and having a bath helps with pain but when it came to having a bath there was no plug so we had to improvise with a cup over the plug hole. The receptionist looked in all the empty rooms but they didn’t have a spare

The hotel was first view ok, but reception, staff were sat at the bar talking amongst themselves, checked us in ok, had a water cooler which was empty, walked into the lift area, the carpets are stained horribly, one lift with a small puece of paper says not working, the other lift stank of damp, had a constant caution wet floor sign inside, very unsafe feeling. Very juttery, we were on the fourth floor, got off and it stank again, very damp, unclean, the carpets were horribly stained. The floor was creaky walking down, got to our room, the alarm goes off everytime you open the door, our room stank clearly of damp, they had tried to cover with cheap air freshener. The air conditioning unit was broken and they had put a fan in the room, the fan was broken and tilted so couldn't turn it on without it wobbling. There was a lack of power points in the room, only two power points next to the mirror, none next to the beds, the tv remote did not work, it.turned on and off but the volume up and down and channel buttons did not work, the kettle was full of limescale. The chair in the corner was covered in questionable stains. The window in the room was covered in dust and spiderwebs. There was bits on the floor, it clearly had not been vaccumed so we wore shoes the whole time, the bathroom seemed ok but the shower curtain again was horribly stained and the shower itself was a very cheap showerhead caked with limescale and trickling water. Absolutely disgraceful stayed for 4 nights had the sign to get room cleaned every morning not one time did it get done no tea and coffee no toilet rolls no towel have to make my own bed on HOLIDAY! Had to go to reception even they were rude about giving me the stuff. Up until 2.30am as police arrive at hotel women screaming out side question the hotel staff the following morning no apology at all. Absolutely disgusting never am I staying here again

I wouldn't stay here again. Staff were pleasant. WiFi was rubbish in my room. Had to stand by the window to make & receive calls. TV options disappointing & complicated. Biggest fail is that the room was clearly not cleaned from the picture you'll see the mouldy spoon and other rubbish that was under the bed. The reception clerk offered another room but I declined this as having discovered the horrors of this one unlikely that another would be better. As I said I won't stay here again.

The hotel was lovely in the rooms. The stairs were filthy and the room I was put in was directly above the outside area where people were being loud, drinking etc. I ended up checking out early at 11pm ISH and slept in my car. Wasted £70 tbh and I'll probably stick with premier inn moving forward.

We booked 2 room and 1 room was not ready it was just double bed,we have booked 2 rooms with double bed and 2 single bed (futon) but it was just double bed was ready another 2 single bed was not done and it was late at night so no one available to make the bed.we have to do everything by ourselves, including getting bedding on.but staff on duty were realy kind and they helped us.he got all the bedding stuff out and delivered to our room,which was very nice.

The staff were really nice and the breakfast was good. The rooms were very basic, the bathroom didn’t feel exceptionally clean but the noise from the other guests on the Saturday was pretty bad. There were children above were like stampeding elephants and since we were on the ground floor we had the car park outside our room so had headlights flashing through the window all night, we also didn’t really feel safe leaving the window open for the same reason, there was a cable securing the window but it wouldn’t take much to cut it. If staying here I’d certainly opt to stay on the top floor to avoid all of these things. For a basic hotel it, it was ok, but I wouldn’t stay here again unless I had to.
