The quality of toilet roll was very disappointed. Room was a bit small but acceptable.

Breakfast not had much choice Room was not clean Other costumes stuff was still under bed and not much tea coffee stock Had no fan heater to give said we don’t have any in stock to give u for your room Very disappointed with heating

Room was quite good and hotel nice.

Staff were excellent , room was a but chilly, shower had bits falling off it .breakfast was excellent

Room clean and tidy, breakfast pretty good.

Food much nicer than expected. Healthy salads, bean sprouts, pomegranates, lovely fresh home made mushroom soup. Board games for kids in the bar. Rest just as expected. Clean, modern, comfortable. Room small but fine. No bath. Can’t hear the motorway.

Refurbished bar area is very nice. clean comfortable rooms with lovely body wash/shampoo. Friendly staff, lots of parking and a good location close to the motorway and not far to get into town

Hotel is clean with good location staff is very friendly only thing was not right was quality of pillows and mattress very very bad and uncomfortable mattress and pillows were very lumpy for two nights couldn’t sleep rest is lovely

Great young lady on reception booked us in nice and quickly,went to our room 114, nice and clean apart from the bathroom as were marks all over the place,no toilet brush which is a shame as don't like to leave a mess, obviously this hotel once had migrants as the TV was tuned into every channel I've never heard of,had to scroll and scroll for ages to find BBC or ITV etc, Apart from that had a good sleep, could of flooded the bathroom as only small glass screen in shower, breakfast was nice,not as good as 20 years ago but hey ho,

Delay booking in due to speed of confirmation details between hotel & Hotels.com. Breakfast was a palaver too....go to the server, go to the desk, back with the server. Not a relaxing meal, felt rushed to eat and get out. Rooms dated eg toilet seat wobbly and grouting dirty. However, hell of a lot cleaner than the Ramada across the way.

Clean comfortable hotel. Can be a bit disturbing when others doors are being knocked on. Housekeeping too keep knocking without being asked.

Family visit

We stayed here to attend a wedding nearby stayed for 4 nights but it was not as advertised. The room when we got there was soo too small with hardly any room To move around, You don’t have any space to open the ironing board to iron your clothes. The whole room had a sheet of dust on it, the tv lamps tables all around the room there was dust which had not been vacuumed for months it seemed like. The phone to call room service was filthy so we didn’t use it incase we caught something and got ill. The bed sheets were dirty. To make things worse they didn’t even change the bed sheets at all over the 4 nights we stayed there and didn’t vacuum the floor and left the mess as it was. We were busy with the wedding and every day when we got back late the room had not been cleaned and bedsheet unchanged dirty and it was too late to request them to change it as we were too tired late nightBut even if we did ask them to change it they only clean the room upto 12.30noon and the cleaners leave.appalling service to be honest. The wardrobe to hang your clothes is shocking, no space to hang anything. The room service for this hotel must mean to only provide toilet paper and change towels. Nothing else. I would never stay here again and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone either. This must be the most unhygienic hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We were lucky we spent most of our time out of this room. But it was a complete waste of money and we were provided with nothing as advertised.

Stayed for literally enough time to sleep from gone midnight to 7am but the place was easy to find, right off the motorway, friendly staff & clean and comfortable - all for £61! 👌

If your a light sleeper take some ear plugs as the walls aren't sound proof at all. It didn't bother us tho as the room next door were also considerate. First time staying at a holiday inn. I would definitely consider staying again. Lovely staff and services.

A convenient hotel to stay at when travelling on the M1 but don't expect too much from the hotel. My bedroom was well maintained but the bathroom showed real signs of wear around the bath edge. The room itself was also very small, with some squeezing and twisting to fit yourself in and out of the shower.

Really nice play to stay, rooms good sized and does the job, maybe best to put a happier person on the check in desk.

Staff helpful and pleasant, room clean and comfortable, bad getting from car park up the slope or the steps when your 80 and bad on your legs but otherwise good

Bed was not good it had no comfort on bed the mattress just went in old and so not good

Pleasantly surprised once in the hotel Looks scruffy externally but refurbushed internally
