The room was spacious and comfortable and the the leisure centre was excellent the pool was vreat.

The menu could have been better not a great variety but the food we had was nice. Would be nice to see the option of a luch menu with toasties on it. I absolutely would not care for the Sunday menu. For some unknown reason they put stuffing with everything not good if you are allergic to sage and break. Need to rethink your Sundays menu

Shower curtains were sticking to my skin while showering, and weren't the cleanest. No key to lock balcony door on first floor.

Disappointing

The bed.

The lights being blasted into my room from the tennis courts, the noise. Other guests next door slamming doors at all hours of the night & into the morning. Shower curtains! Who wants a shower curtain stuck to them while they shower? Nobody! I won't be staying there again.

Location suited us fine as we attend an event 10 mis away Staff where friendly especially the girl in bar don't sat night who served us our food. Breakfast was excellent

Great staff & facilities!

Location was ideal for us as my Uncle lives a 5 minute walk from The Woodlands. Swimming pool is excellent, my two loved it, and the fact you get given towels is a huge bonus. All staff were excellent!

We stayed in a Family room and the only thing I would recommend with two young children is placing a fridge in these rooms. Thankfully my youngest wasn’t on cows milk at the time of our visit but if she was, it would have meant I couldn’t store any milk for her morning or nighttime bottles.

Great place to stay even if it is a little way out from Waterford city centre.

Access to the leisure centre facilities at no extra cost. The atrium area was large and separate from the dining/bar area.

Unfortunately, while we were there, the hotel experienced an outage in their WIFI local area network.

Payment issues

Major issues with payment. Had my card on file through booking.com. Then on arrival, wanted the same card on file to charge. They would not accept tap on phone. They charged €193 twice on the card on file and my other bank card. Left out of pocket all weekend. Not acceptable. Should have given warning. No extra cash for weekend as a result.

Everything. The rooms were awful, old and outdated. The windows were filthy, the light fixture was broken and my wife got eaten by bed bugs. When I went to leave the staff member took a call as I stood at the desk, looked at me and said "Do you want a receipt" I said no, so she went back to her call and totally ignored me. I wanted to discuss my issues. Hidden cost for breakfast too.

Weekend away.

Like the location and lesuire centre ...the hotel was lovely but our room was far too warm no air conditioning and a fan that was too noisy to put on at night....never slept properly any night.. the breakfast was cold also....Dinner on one night the beef was gone off . They change it to chicken but I could tell the potatoes were not freshly cook the roast potatoes were cremated and cold. The vegables were soggie and over cooked...When leaving the young girl at reception never even asked did we enjoy our stay not very professional

:Lovely bonding with my grandchildren

I brought my grandchildren for a break and we enjoyed it very much.. Breakfast was just what we needed.. We had dinner on one of the nights in the bar, it was good and staff in the bar were very friendly and very helpful.. We also used the swimming pool and the children loved it. Thank you

Staff amazing. Brekkie delicious. Served until 11am on Sunday which is a big plus. Great atmosphere in bar. Food really good.
