The spa was nice and new but very slippery and the pools were not warm. Alessandro the shuttle bus driver was awesome and faithfully ferried us to and from the slopes every day. There was a ski room. The waitress in the restaurant spoke English and was nice to us - she clearly felt bad for us because of what had happened and as the only person to express empathy at the hotel, we appreciated that. The owner provided helpful ski advice but could have been nicer or allowed us a refund after he could not provide us with the large queen bed junior suite with a view we booked - it was frankly insulting to be told the double room with all windows looking out to the road with cars driving by all night and no view to speak of could in any way be comparable to what we had paid for just because the room had a bathtub in it.

1. We booked and paid for a large 450m2 junior suite with a nice view, only to find out on arrival our room had been given away without our consent and had been replaced with a tiny 200m2 double right on the road with no view whatsoever. The owner said his son made an error and tough luck; no refund or cancellation was provided or permitted despite us making many good faith efforts and entreaties to the hotel and booking.com to refund us, provide the jr suite we paid for or place us in a different hotel. 2. Booking.com was difficult to reach and ultimately completely ineffective at advocating for us or achieving a resolution, making us question why we would use booking.com in the future 3. Our vacation was essentially ruined because we had to spend so much time trying to rectify our room issue which ultimately went unresolved and was not refunded or corrected. We also could not sleep due to the cars constantly driving by on the road on which our room was located and due to the uncomfortable double bed 4. The staff was surly with us after we pushed back about being assigned a new room for the remainder of our stay, making us feel uncomfortable 5. We would not have booked this three star hotel had we any inkling this could happen.. we decided to take a chance on the panorama fontanella despite typically only staying at four and five star hotels and unfortunately we very much regretted our decision to do so. 6. Right up until the day we checked out we kept receiving communications from the hotel indicating we had booked and stayed in the junior suite which added salt to the wound since we had very much the opposite experience and demonstrated a lack of organization and professionalism by the hotel on top of the fiasco that had already transpired. 7. Regrettably we cannot recommend this hotel and recommend avoiding it so that this does not happen to you.

Charming family run hotel with excellent spa

This charming hotel is managed by a family and offers excellent spa services and amenities. The standout employee during my stay was the driver Alexandro, who was exceptional. The room was spacious and provided a warm and cozy atmosphere during our February stay. Additionally, the housekeeping staff tidied up the room daily.

Although we enjoyed our stay at this hotel, we encountered problems with undercooked food. Unfortunately, the staff's response to our complaint was rather impolite, which could be a cultural difference. This pattern of behavior can also be observed in their online reviews, with the owner occasionally responding in an unprofessional manner. Despite this surprising behavior, I still believe that the hotel is worth recommending overall. Furthermore, I would like to note that there was no shampoo or conditioner provided in the room, which I recommend the hotel consider adding. Attention to details like these can significantly enhance guests' experience.

The location is good, few minutes by hotel shuttle bus to ski lifts. Room was comfortable with very nice panoramic view. Spa area was magnificent with warm in/outdoor pool and saunas. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Thinking to return next season.

Incredible, unbeatable view. Amazing spa and pool - fivestar level. Balcony with view and furniture.

Breakfast ok, nothing more. Pool only open in afternoon. Not made clear that pool was extra charge. Stayed in triple room and the attic area with the third bed was dark, with no window and badly furnished.

Sauna and spa area was fabulous! Even better than in the pictures!

Good breakfast, variety of ham, cheeses, fruits etc. The view from sauna and swimming pool was exquisite! The lovely family and staff was beyond friendly! Very nice local dishes for dinner! We loved the entire stay!

Panorama stay to come back!

Stayed here for 4 nights and loved it + Nice clean room with balcony and comfy bed + Big shower + View on the mountains + Beautiful swimming pool area + Good breakfast + lovely dinner for 20€ pp each night + location (near Madonna Dì Campligio and Val Nambrone) + the owner Marko works hard and is really relaxed + the room was cleaned everyday The hotel deserves more stars!

- We booked this hotel for our honeymoon and chose it for its spa/wellness area. Unfortunately it was closed due to covid - even with a green pass - while some other hotels in the area opened their spas (check booking.com very carefully if you have the same wish). This was a bit of a disappointment since it looked very nice, so hopefully for next time. Luckily we could make use of the swimmingpool for 10€ pp. - tea in the room would be an upgrade for the hotel

Great place to stay if you need quiet and remote, with an amazing view

The view from the room was amazing. Extremely clean and environmentally friendly. Great for quiet time and relaxing. Convenient for hiking/biking mountain trails in the area.

Breakfast is so so due to way it's served (not self-serve) and due to attitude of staff. No mini fridge and no tea/coffee facilities in the room. Hotel quite outside of Madonna di Campiglio (2 km). Pool too expensive and too complicated to use.
