Friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfasts, relaxed environment, not stuffy or too formal, great location, outdoor hot tub, nice indoor pool, sauna and steam room.

Exceeded very high expectations. Can’t wait to return.

All of the food options were excellent, definitely don’t miss the Austrian restaurant nor the Alter Goldener Berg for traditional fondue. Breakfast is also excellent. Most importantly, the entire staff was genuinely attentive and beyond responsive to any requests or needs. I cannot recommend highly enough.

If I have to be picky, the walk from the gondola can be slippery (but you can always use the indoor tunnel) and the overall indoor temperature was bit warm (but we just opened windows). That said, don’t let either of these nitpicks dissuade you from this incredible hotel.

Disappointing

They didn’t refresh the body wash during the entire stay (we ran out completely), we were ignored in the sun terrace restaurant and then treated like annoyances for asking about our forgotten drinks. They took almost 2 hours to bring down our luggage on the last day and couldn’t explain why, or where our luggage was; we missed scheduled reservations because of it.

Another wonderful stay

Returning after 10 years found main public area no longer trad now very designer. Golderner Berg sits alone above Lech and is silent at night has an amazing setting and views wonderful spa ,great food and outstanding customer service ,especially from Robert,Davor and Mira who were always so friendly ,helpful and attentive during our stay . Overall a real pleasure to be there and we enjoyed some great hiking .

I thought the lighting in the lounge area ,whilst no doubt very expensive, is badly designed and creates a slightly harsh feel giving no real mood/atmosphere (especially if the fire is off which is was 4 from 5 days ) and the “club “area is positively gloomy ... other minor points … Sauna is too hot (90c) and coffee at breakfast is generally not hot enuf and lastly reception area staff bit glum and need an injection of cheerfulness.

We had a really nice ski vacation here!

Great location! It’s close to the gondola to go sown to Lech and you can ski in and out as well. There are 3 restaurants at the hotel and 2 of them offered vegan options. They have a big beautiful terrace for lunch and afternoon drinks as well. The spa was great and I loved the out door hot tub. I had a massage there as well, which was good and reasonably priced. All service was good.

Only the fine dining restaurant had good tasting vegan food, the food (both breakfast and dinner) we got served as vegan option at the Panorama restaurant was simply bad! Our room was small and without any ventilation, so we had to sleep with the balcony door open so it wouldn’t get too warm, and this was in March so I don’t know how it is there in the summer.

The staff was super friendly and took care of all our needs. Special thanks to Monika & Daniel for making our experience superb. Will definitely stay here again !! The hotel was in a very good local - easy to ski in and out.

The staff is super friendly! They will help you with everything! The hotel is located at the top of the village with a beautiful sun terasse. The room was always clean and the super extra are the great yoga classes!

Austrian hospitality at its finest

all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - from the reception, to the service and everyone in between. Housekeeping came twice a day, which I loved. Food was delicious - also for vegetarians. We stayed here for a wedding and the hotel really went the extra way to make it special. Although it was a cold and rainy weekend, you completely forgot about that because of how beautiful and warm-welcoming the hotel was. If you’re looking for a hotel to relax, enjoy some spa and quiet days, this is definitely the place to be. Hotel Goldener Berg will take care of you!

Don’t mind paying for quality but this fell short.

Location was good if you want ski in/out

Staff on the terrace were rude, tried to be too cool. Service in general was a problem, had to ask repeatedly to get the snow cleared from our balcony so we could use it. Eventually done on the last day of our stay. Food at the hotel needed to be better - felt it was overpriced for quality offered. Restaurants in Lech were much better.

Der Spa Bereich ist neu und sehr schön!

Zuvorkommender Service ist hier nicht vorhanden. Es wird betont, dass die Möglichkeit besteht, alles was gewünscht wird zu erfüllen, man muss nur an der Rezeption Bescheid geben. ABER man muss wirklich JEDER Kleinigkeit hinterherlaufen. So zum Beispiel den Kaffeekapseln, die nur auf Wunsch jeden Tag aufgefüllt werden und dass obwohl man (ebenso) vor Anreise eine KAffeemaschine extra gegen Gebühr bestellen muss. Hier werden große Sparmaßnahmen getroffen und diese unter dem Deckmantel "Umweltschutz-Label" gerechtfertigt. Man bekommt hier wirklich sehr wenig für sein Geld. ob Dubai, Mauritius, Malediven oder New York - in keinen Hotels dieser Luxusdestinationen hatten wir bisher so vehement das Gefühl, dass man sich hier auf Ruf und Lage und früheren Zeiten ausruht.

צוות המלון מאד ידידותי, נותן שירות מכל הלב. כל העובדים מהקבלה ועד לעובדי הניקיון. עוזרים בכל נושא. מלון נקי ברמה גבוהה.. ארוחת בוקר עשירה. חדר נעים ומאובזר, לא חסר שום דבר ! קיימת תאורה לחדר ותאורה לקריאה. קיים תיק להשאלה לטיולים, ואפילו אביזר ספורט לחוגים שמתקיימים במלון. (המלון אפילו משאיר "מתנות" בחדר) ספא - נקי ונעים. 3 סאונות, בריכה פנימית ובריכה חיצונית, מחוממות גדולות ונקיות. מרחב מנוחה נעים מאד חניה צמודה למלון מלון פשוט מקסים !!

Preis Leistung beim Abendessen für 6 Stückchen Käse 17.€ oder oder einen Vodka o 20.-€ war echt zu überteuert. Aber jedem das seine: Für uns Preis Leistung bei Essen und Getränken zu viel…. Und wir geben gerne Geld aus für gutes Essen. Dafür das Frühstücksbuffet TOP!

Perfekte kurze (R)Auszeit aus dem Alltag

Das Zimmer (Loftsuite) war der absolute Hammer. Wir haben umsonst ein Upgrade bekommen. Auch der ganze Wellnessbereich ist super schön und top modern. Wir fühlten uns meega wohl und währen gerne noch länger geblieben.

Preis-Leistung etwas hoch, ansonsten sehr schöner Aufenthalt zum Wellnessen und Wandern im Sommer

Lage war super, direkt hinter dem Hotel kann man zum Körbersee loswanden. Sehr angenehme Betten und gute Zimmerausstattung. Empfang an der Rezeption ist sehr behilflich. Yoga auf der Terasse mit Blick auf die Berge war toll, wir hatten eine super Yogalehrerin. Außenpool mit Ausblick war auch top, er wurde sogar extra am Morgen für mich aufgemacht.

Das Frühstück hätte etwas mehr Auswahl haben können an Wurst und Käse. Für die warmen Frühstücksspeisen gab es keine Karte.

schöner urlaub, mit ein paar downsides

* spa- und wellnessbereich sind sehr gepflegt und schön * die lage ist großartig

* unser zimmer war eher ein begehbares bett, denn ein zimmer… * 15 euro miete mussten wir für eine nespressomaschine bezahlen - in den meisten frühstückspensionen mittlerweile standard… * minibar gab es leider keine * das vegetarische restaurant war eine enttäuschung - speziell die kartoffelschalensuppe war völlig geschmacklos
