Not really worth de detour between Luxembourg & Frankfurt…

Hardware is good and looks new, both the rooms and spa/pool area; decent breakfast with lots of choice

The “free parking” was overflowing with cars and there were too many people in the sauna/pool, with long queuing times for the two changing rooms: apparently many non-resident guests are also using the sauna with a Half-day Pass. The room was spacious but bare: no slippers or bathrobe provided, not even the ubiquitous mineral water as welcome drink. Instead, the pool basket must be purchased (8€) and for water there is a vending machine.

Wonderful stay on the Eifelsteig

Wonderfully located on the Eifelsteig, kind staff, nice, quiet, cool and big room, nice pool, delicious breakfast. We loved it.

The only thing we missed in our room where robes to go to the pool. But we went swimming anyway-:) and we could have asked the reception for robes. A little waterboiler in the room for tea/coffee would have been nice.

I felt unwanted

Clean room and a comfortable bed.

The staff in the bar and restaurant! Such nasty and ignorant people that seem unhappy that you’re there as a guest. And don’t forget to bring a towel for that pool. If you need a towel for their ‘free pool’ you have to pay 8 euro. Also, I understand the environmental issues the world has. But I want to have the choice to have my room cleaned instead of having it cleaned every 3 days as ‘we care about the climate, we will not be cleaning the rooms on a daily base. We’ll give you a clean towel when the room is cleaned every 3 days.’ For 120 euros per person per night I would have thought the service was a 4* service too. But unfortunately it isn’t.

Poor communication by staff. Message promising extra price for dog was offset by room downgrade rate: promise was revoked with arguments about room rates... Probably all sound but unclear...

Nice hotel but service definitely not to the level of the usual standards for a four star facility

Breakfast buffet was really nice. Diner was a bit expensive but the food was of quality. Central patio for breakfast and diner is nice. Rooms were large, quiet, clean, with good wifi connection. The Spa was nice.

The reception is only open until 7 PM, whereas a four-star hotel is expected to offer 24/7 front desk service. The staff at reception were not fluent in English, and all written communication was in German only—typically, an English version should also be available. If you're staying for several nights, your room will only be cleaned on the third day, supposedly for environmental reasons. However, this feels more like a cost-cutting measure than a genuine sustainability effort. You must request room cleaning at the front desk if you want the bed made and the bathroom cleaned. The swimming pool was small (less than 10 meters), and there was no hammam in the spa. Additionally, guests are charged extra for towels, slippers, and bathrobes—items that are usually provided free of charge at comparable hotels.

A comfortable, clean, large room with an excellent shower. The staff were friendly & helpful. Suited us very much for a one night stay.

The curtains didn't cover the windows completely so let in a lot of light which isn't great if you prefer a dark room.

It's a good place to a stopover on the way. Rooms are wide and quiet and the hotel has the old Kloster inside, which is nice. Staff is algo very gentle and helpful!

The staff the attitude the service We booked meals in the hotels but were told when we got there they weren't booked even though we had confirmation he did, not even want to check further just told us full The following day we put the card on the door to clean the room at 2 .30 when we came back it was still not cleaned , no problem but we needed clean towels on asking at the desk we were told oh they don't clean your room because of Covid 19 but u have to put your towels outside the door and they would leave new one,s Nobody told us this no information in the room no mini bar no air conditioning whatsoever and on the main street we had to leave the window,s wide open the noise is so bad parking is 10 euro,s a day extra

Gerne wieder

Das Zimmr war ansprechend, sauber gut möbliert, der Wellnessbereich gepflegt, modern, der Ruhebereich geräumig, es wurde Zitronenwasser und Nüsse bereitestellt.

Das Zitronenwasser wurde leider nicht aufgefüllt, der Griff am Kühlschrank fehlt, Montags war das Frühstücksbüfett nicht so gut bestückt, die Speisekarte des Restaurants hat uns nicht angesprochen, aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Ens vem sentir una mica ignorats pel personal de la recepcio mentre esperàvem que fossin les 15 en punt. Fora plovia i vem arribar una horeta abans pero no ens van donar la clau i tampoc ens van oferir un cafè o got d’aigua. No es usual en un hotel de 4 estrelles

Schöner, großzügiger Spa-Bereich mit 2 Saunen, Ruheraum und Wasserspender. Zimmer komfortabel ausgestattet und mit viel Platz. Beim Frühstück reichhaltige Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Kostenloser Parkplatz mit direktem Zugang zum Hotel.

Flasche Wasser auf dem Zimmer wäre nett. Öffnungszeiten der Rezeption recht kurz bemessen.

Heerlijk hotel in een mooie omgeving om een paar dagen bij te komen

Kamer was prima. Het gratis wellness-gedeelte (sauna en zwembad) was fijn. Het personeel was uiterst behulpzaam. Ik was een zwembroek vergeten en deze werd uitgeleend; toen ik eerder moest uitchecken was men heel begripvol.

Er stonden geen waterbekertjes en geen waterkoker op de kamer.

Zeer proper hotel. Een aanrader.

Personeel is heel vriendelijk. Alles was netjes en verzorgd in Kerstsfeer. We kwamen voor de tweede keer, dus we wisten wat te verwachten.

We sliepen aan de achterkant, waardoor we de drukke straat niet of nauwelijks hoorden.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Kundenklientel war sehr angenehm und durchmischt. Alles am Hotel wirkte solide und gefällig.

Der eigentlich große Parkplatz war sehr voll. Ansonsten möchte ich nichts weiter kritisieren, es wäre unhöflich und unangebracht.

De kamer boven de keuken waar ze om 06.00 uur al lawaai maakte. En de ober s'avonds die neerbuigend en kleinerend deed tegen de Afrikaanse medewerker die zijn uiterste best deed. Walgelijk om te zien!

Das Hotel ist insgesamt zufriedenstellend. Die Küche im Restaurant müsste dringend verbessert werden.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und gut.

Die Räumlichkeiten sind generell extrem hoch. Der große Speisesaal ist modern eingerichtet, leider in sehr kühler Atmosphäre. Die Armatur in der Dusche ist in die Jahre gekommen. Die Lüftung im Bad ist extrem laut und lange anhaltend. Das Essen ist schlecht, extrem fett, von keiner guten Qualität.
