Great location in a quiet corner of the main square. Comfy big sofas in the lounge area. Michelin star restaurant just down the road. Montgomery a lovely place. Great walking stop on the Offas Dyke path.
My room was small and quite tired and basic, but I didn’t pay much for it. Perhaps manage expectations by describing the cheaper rooms as ‘economy’ or similar. The evening meal in the bar (fish and chips) was awful. Breakfast in the restaurant was very good.
