Perfect stopover for cycling the Marcher Castles Way. The pub serves delicious homemade pies and Thai food. Quiet and comfortable accommodation. Secure overnight storage for cycles within the building.

Arrived at the Castle and was greeted by one of the owners who made us feel very welcome. We went to our room which was up some steps outside the main building but on the premises and found a delightful spacious, airy room which was very clean. It had everything you needed and felt very homely and comfortable. Had 2 pre booked dinners, one was a pie and the other was a thai meal, which was freshly cooked by the other owner and they were delicious. Breakfast was outstanding too and freshly cooked to order.

Location close to Knighton but not in Knighton. Close to and walking distance on Offa's Dyke, river, cycle route.
Food was fantastic and genuine Thai curries.
Hosts were charming.

good on the whole. well presented food, The breakfast was as expected and well delivered by the host. Choice of cereals was adequate . Evening meal also presented as expected,, no frills.
The room could have been better, the ventilation was poor in the extreme heat.
