Excellent room - hot shower which was welcome as we had been walking in the area.

Not the staff's fault but as my wife has had surgery, there were no small plates on offer for people who can no longer eat full meal size meals. Maybe breweries/hotels should look at this option as we will enquire in future if this will be available before booking !
New management were very helpful and very happy to accommodate wherever they could, also very friendly and hope they make a success of the move to the Lamb and Flag

Lovely staff
The bed was tired, very cheap pillows, when you have a shave, the plug in the sink doesn’t work as the original one was broken and supplied another one from another sink.
Was woken up at 0730 to horrific noise of the plumbing/pipes… went down for breakfast the boiler broken so no heating, The breakfast for £9 per person was fixed to one coffee, one orange juice and a fixed hot breakfast. If you wanted to toast etc or another coffee or juice that was extra. No cold buffet / fruit etc.
