Very enjoyable has it was my partner 's birthday treat.
But more on the plate ?but very well prepared, and Not
The evening meal mine was steak and very drier and could not chewed it at £17.99 chips where warm to cold and peas where hard

Lovely room and friendly staff.
The room was lovely and warm and the young lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful - carrying my bag upstairs for me as I walk with a stick. She made sure to brief us on safety procedures and that if we needed anything during the night, the landlady would be on call. We had both dinner and breakfast at the inn and although the main course I chose was disappointing, everything else was very good.
The chilli seemed more like you would buy in a tin and with accompaniments out of bottles from a supermarket! Not the quality I expected but it didn't spoil the overall experience of the stay.

The bed was tired, very cheap pillows, when you have a shave, the plug in the sink doesn’t work as the original one was broken and supplied another one from another sink. Was woken up at 0730 to horrific noise of the plumbing/pipes… went down for breakfast the boiler broken so no heating, The breakfast for £9 per person was fixed to one coffee, one orange juice and a fixed hot breakfast. If you wanted to toast etc or another coffee or juice that was extra. No cold buffet / fruit etc.
