WOW! The pictures on the website DO NOT give this place justice. From the fantastic views, the plentiful parking, the refreshing pool, and the garden - it's a beautiful agroturismo to stay at. We wished we had booked more than one night! We were greeted by their daughter, who spoke great English and was very welcoming. She offered to cook us dinner that evening, but we had prior reservations. Her father offered us free glasses of port that he had aged for 3 years in the evening when we were playing cards on the deck, which was a lovely treat. The rooms (we had neighboring rooms with our children), were plenty large enough, each with ensuites and plenty of luggage storage space. Each room had its own AC unit, which was much appreciated as it was quite warm, and a decent sized fridge/small freezer unit. The beds were plenty comfy, and everything was spotless. We did use the billiards table, but it was free to use - and there were plenty of spots to sit and read a book or play games. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic for all of us (gluten free was provided for and plenty for a vegetarian too). Eggs were being cooked as fast you could eat them. There was plenty of bread/pastries, A meat/cheese spread, yogurts, and plenty of fresh fruit grown on the farm and some veggies too. We arrived earlier than check-in and were lucky enough that are rooms were available, and checkout time was noon (there is plenty of space to store luggage if you need). We ate dinner at the nearby Bistro Terrace at Quinta do Tedo, which we would also recommend.
Not a negative - just that you likely would need a vehicle to access this lovely residence and the last mile upto the house is a bit narrow, but you can easily get most vehicles through the hillside village road.

Location a very mixed bag. Quite close to the DOC restaurant, where I had a reservation. Easy walk to/fr, tho steep. On the other hand, driving from main road to the quinta involved very tight turns in narrow and steep streets -- not for the faint hearted, nor easy to navigate in the dark. Price was good.
Went to dinner and returned to quinta approx 10:15pm to find all doors shut tight -- had to bang on the door of the owner's cottage to get in. I understand the need for security but owner needs to coordinate this better since virtually all guests are going to go out for dinner. In general, this quinta was on the low end of creature comforts, but it was also on the low end of price, so not surprising.
