Calm and peaceful Quinta with nice view on the river.
It’s a place full of history where the hosts welcome their customers with kindness and respect.
Clean room at the first floor (of course no elevator).
I will recommend it to my friends and I hope to come back soon.
This is the perfect place if you like nature, silence and authenticity!

The drive is a bit of an adventure, but definitely worth it! There's enough space to park your car at the quinta. There's a very friendly host waiting for you. The view is amazing. The quinta is very traditional, the rooms are comfortable and contain everything you could need (including wine). The breakfast is very good, there's something for everyone... including fresh brewed coffee, the host will make you an omelette while you're seated. Perfect!

Location a very mixed bag. Quite close to the DOC restaurant, where I had a reservation. Easy walk to/fr, tho steep. On the other hand, driving from main road to the quinta involved very tight turns in narrow and steep streets -- not for the faint hearted, nor easy to navigate in the dark. Price was good.
Went to dinner and returned to quinta approx 10:15pm to find all doors shut tight -- had to bang on the door of the owner's cottage to get in. I understand the need for security but owner needs to coordinate this better since virtually all guests are going to go out for dinner. In general, this quinta was on the low end of creature comforts, but it was also on the low end of price, so not surprising.
