Location was excellent . Food , staff, cleanliness all v good . Our room (18) was rather compact but still nice .

I asked for a ground floor / first floor room but ended up on the second floor (26 stairs!) it was later explained ( when I asked) that only a second floor room had air con . Staff helped with luggage on arrival.

Good location. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely stylish room, with fabulous comfy bed & crisp white linen.

We requested rooms with air con, as it was a heatwave with temp 38 + The rooms did have air con which was really effective & most welcome. But unfortunately the air con unit was very noisy, so we were not able to sleep because of the noise of it. Also, while the rooms had recently been renovated to an exceptionally high standard, and were really lovely, the rest of the hotel looked a bit tired, so the overall experience didn’t feel quite consistent.

This was a gem of a place , I can honestly say that they do not come much better than this . The room was decorative and full of all the things you would need . The shower was brilliant , expensive soaps provided The food in the restaurant was really good breakfast menu was right up to date with healthy options . A complete satisfactory package

There was nothing i did not like .

Location was great with car parking. Staff very friendly and food of excellent quality.

Front bedrooms by road noisy. Some tlc required for old hanging baskets still on display. Bed creaky but comfortable!
