This hotel is incredibly beautiful, warm, and cozy. Staying here felt like stepping right into the 19th century and connecting with the creator of this stunning, fantastic villa. Every detail is filled with history and charm. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Location was fantastic. Building was so lovely. A real fairy castle in the middle of modern Shanghai.

It was clean and quiet, breakfast was mediocre, the location is very good
Most staff spoke poor English; the breakfast was mostly catering to Asian customers, hotel is worn out and needs renovation
