B&B Baron’s House Neerijse-Leuven

Nettes historisches Anwesen, aufwendig und geschmackvoll renoviert.

Die Lage ist etwas ab vom Schuss, man braucht auf jeden Fall ein Auto.

De rust, prachtige omgeving, vriendelijke mensen van de B&B, uitstekend ontbijt, sfeervolle ruime kamer, het terrein is ommuurd en is alleen toegankelijk voor gasten en de bewoners van het kasteel.

Beautiful old building and location, and they put some money into quality fittings although this seems to have been some time ago. Decent breakfast.

Unfortunately the room we were put in has a damp problem and shouldn’t be rented to guests in its current state. It stank of damp and this made it quite unpleasant to sleep in. A shame as it would otherwise have been a nice room, although in general they don’t seem to be keeping up with the maintenance of the building and grounds so it felt a bit tired and tatty in general. There was a notice telling us to keep a ventilation fan on during the day but this wasn’t working and wouldn’t have been enough to solve the issue anyway. The fact that the shower screen was so short that it was impossible to shower without flooding the floor was also adding to the problem.
