Hotel Apostroff

Very friendly hotel with excellent facilities, right in the centre of Koksijde. We booked a large family room as we stayed for a full week so that our daughter could have a room of her own and a proper bed, rather than a sofa bed. The room was huge and I loved how much storage there was for our clothes and other items. It felt more like an apartment! The bathroom was amazing with a really good shower! Breakfast was included and was delicious. The staff kept all items topped up. I particularly enjoyed the wide range of fresh breads that were available each day. We made very good use of the pool each day and it was big enough to swim properly too, rather than just have a splash about. My daughter enjoyed the jacuzzi and there was a lovely outdoor area to relax in too. My husband found the gym to be modest but good as there was one of each piece of equipment that you would wish to use. He used it each day and was able to have a full hour's work out with the modern, well maintained kit. Finally, we found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. We had a chat with them regularly and they were always very happy to chat. I should also mention that parking was very good and the location allowed us to travel around the area with ease as well as use the trams along the coastline. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nothing really! If we had to make one suggestion, we'd have liked a little refrigerator in the room, particularly as the weather was so warm when we stayed, but we have an electric coolbox, so we managed with this.

Lovely and clean and friendly staff

Friendly, helpful staff, good accommodations.

Nice building, entrance was clean but we arrived late so there were no staff on hand. We collected the key from the restaurant which looked lovely and was busy, but unfortunately we were told they were closed. The chef was very friendly and kindly booked us a table at a tapas bar close by.

The room was very basic indeed and we had been given an upgrade so I can’t image what the other room must have looked like. The floor covering was very heavily stained and wasn’t comfortable underfoot. The bathroom was very basis with only a hand held shower over the bath.
