Very nice hotel with good rooms.

The room was very comfortable with a good bathroom and a comfy big bed. The breakfast was OK.

The windows! They are single glazed sash windows that are drafty in places, and also do nothing to muffle external noise. Such as drunken students singing loudly on their way to accommodation at 3am. I did mention this and they said it was because it was a listed building. However, I am sure that even listed buildings can improve their windows, even if it's just secondary internal glazing. The second night we had a later breakfast, and even though there was nearly an hour left, they had already cleared away the buffet!

Excellent location

Hotel and room was clean. Location of this hotel is ideal and hence my reason of choosing this hotel. My car was parked there and I could just walk to places where I wanted to go.

I didnt like the bathroom. I dont like 2 separate taps in the sink in today's day and age. There was a towel shelf in the bath area and I banged my head against it 3 times, as soon as I finished shower and move backwards or even turn I banged my head each time. Poor design. Shower was electric and the pressure was very very high and there was no way of controlling it. Tried the thing at the shower end as well but no difference. My colleague who was staying in same hotel didn't have this issue so may be it varies from room to room.

I struggled to park - there was only one space available and it was very tight. I was looking forward to the advertised black pudding for breakfast (a rare treat!) but there wasn't any.

Pleasant enough

The staff and food were excellent, it is located next to a nice walk into the city.

Our room was in need of some tlc and we could hear quite a lot of noise from rooms above and beside us, also hearing the people using their bathroom & toilets. Which wasn’t very pleasant. We thought that the AA 4 star rating was more like a 3.

Comfortable room and beds, good power shower. Breakfast had buffet and cooked options, very nice. Staff were welcoming and professional.

Car park was welcome but we got the last space, not very large for the hotel size.

The Belmont...a great comfortable place to stay.

The room sizes were generous. The location was close to Leicester Uni, and at the same time the town center was easily walkable. Having private parking was also a bonus.

A suggestion would be to have some halal meat options for breakfast, like halal chicken sausages.

This was our second visit and did not disappoint.

Good location for visiting Leicester. Beautiful junior suite (room 115) with every facility, gorgeous modern bathroom in a quiet part of the hotel. The reception staff were very welcoming and restaurant staff friendly, efficient and attentive.

Very enjoyable

Service was excellent and the breakfast and breakfast room is exceptional. Although the decor is old fashioned and the exterior needs some up keep, the hotel has a lot of charm and the rooms are comfortable.

A fabulous place. Better than large chain hotels.

A fabulous hotel. Massive room - which I wasn't expecting. Immaculate. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Facilities amazing. Dinner and breakfast excellent. Great parking for free (certainly easier in a smaller vehicle). Great location for the 02 Academy.

Very old building and floorboards very creaky. Was worried I would annoy other guests if there were any below me.

I had a lovely big room with a sofa and when I realised the phone in my room didn't work to phone reception, someone came up within 5 minutes to replace it with a new one. Excellent customer service with a smile. I'd highly recommend this place to stay.

The location was convenient for my trip

The restaurant times are totally inflexible - I was travelling with 2 Italian colleagues and we arrived at 8.50pm on the first night, only to be told that the restaurant had closed and they couldn't take any more orders. This is pretty pathetic for an international hotel in the 21st Century !

Shame about the breakfast because we really like this hotel.

Family room was superb

Saturday breakfast hours were late, 08.00 start, we had to leave at 07.45 to drive to airport for a flight. Reception did not mention this when checking in the night before, although they did charge us for the breakfast. Fortunately a very nice (Polish?) lady who was setting up the breakfast room let us eat bread and jam and made us tea and coffee.

The position of the hotel was good for getting to De Montfort Hall and great restaurants in the London Road.

The decor was dated, which made the hotel look tired and in need of redecoration and modernisation.

Excellent stay and would definitely recommend.

The room was clean and well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, bathroom was very large! Excellent cooked breakfast. Also enjoyed an excellent evening meal. Staff were very helpful, organising a late check out for us and providing me with an ice pack for a recent foot injury, just going above and beyond. Free parking was a bonus too.

Great stay near demontfort hall

The staff were all exceptional and worked very hard. Every single person was attentive and helpful and took the stay from being good to great . Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Free on site parking. Breakfast was yummy

The food in the restaurant was nice but I think they excel in the more "pub" style dishes and the fancier style dishes were a little below expectation. But the service was still fantastic

Excellent hotel in a great location

Excellent location for a gig at De Montfort hall. Breakfast was very good. Parking onsite was very good. We got a free room upgrade on arrival too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and spacious.

Wife found a small spot of blood on a pillow but it was tiny and didn’t cause us any bother.
