The Mirador Boutique Town House

Located on a nice quiet road with free parking and restaurants within walking distance. We stayed in the Oriental Room and as you see, the decor is intense but such a great theme. Nice lounge area to chill in rather than having to sit on the bed.

Shower wasn’t great

The property. Was easy to find. The instructions for check in were foolproof. I had booked the French room. Which had a standard double bed. One bed side table with a lamp. A very large wardrobe with a big mirror on it that faces the bed. ( Kinky!) It had a small armchair in the window bay. A chest of drawers with a flat screen TV on it. Just inside the doorway was a small fridge area. With a kettle. Cereals, croissants. Tea and coffee. And the fridge had yoghurt, fruit, fresh milk which I was particularly impressed by. Biscuits. In fact, the food offering and general setup for tea and coffee was extremely generous and I really appreciated it. When you got into the property and room, there was some gentle classical music being piped around the room, which I thought was a lovely touch. There's an ensuite bathroom with a small window. Again, impeccably clean, plenty of fresh white towels, plenty of toiletries, very generous.. Very stylish. Large rainfall shower. Beautiful Victorian style sink, There is also a lovely terrace in the back garden. Impeccably maintained with seating, a sun shade. completely private. And even though it was a bit drizzly. It was still pretty warm. So I enjoyed standing out there a bit. One of the things I really dislike about modern hotels is how trapped you feel. You can't even open the window, and you're stuck in there with air conditioning. It can be claustrophobic. I slept extremely well. The bed was really comfy. The bed was well made. And looked very attractive. Checkout was easy. You just leave the. Key in the door as he found it.. The location is really easy. Near the city centre. Uplands. Is a very nice up-market area in Swansea. If you like that sort of thing. with some great restaurants.

I'm not a fan of self check In., And I do feel that for that price point. One could easily. Pay for a hotel with a restaurant reception service staff. And room service. However. There were many points of detail. That were exemplary. Nonetheless. There was a bit of a smell in the bathroom, which. I think was just damp. It smelled a bit like a sweaty. gym or a spa - it could do with some attention. My preference would be for cotton sheets. I'm not a fan of polyester. In the morning, When I tried to have a shower. The water pressure was low and the water was cold. I tried every which way, but it's a very straightforward shower and I couldn't get it to work. There was plenty of hot water in the sink, so I had a sink wash. But there were only two ways to turn the shower handle and. Neither of them worked!

Nice themed room bit different only thing I would say is could do with two chairs in the room other than that great stay host was good with communication

Very easy to find, so close to The Uplands, great bars and restaurants. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, we both slept really well.
