Beaulieu Hotel

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is small and homely which we prefer. The room was nice and although we were concerned about the closeness of the railway line, it wasn't noticeable. Sitting out the front of the hotel looking across the landscape was beautiful and very calming with the horses gently munching away. We had an early dinner in the restaurant which was enjoyable. My husband liked his meal and my salad was nice.

There wasn't really anything that we didn't like about the hotel. I found the mattress a bit too hard, but my husband liked that, so you can't please everybody! My salad could have been a bit more professional looking, but it tasted nice.

Just love this place. I have stayed many times with my dogs and it’s just a lovely environment to be in with them. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The location is outstanding too.

Lovely hotel. Garden rooms were lovely. Could do with a fan and a bigger tv for the evenings, but other than that it was lovely.

Nothing not to like

We were staying at the hotel as a family of four and a dog. Location was fantastic, having the pub next door with a playground was a godsend with two young children and the staff were very accommodating and lovely to speak to!

The place looks a little dated for the price of the money you pay. The family room could have been cleaner in some areas (bathroom) and when asked for additional room service during our stay, unfortunately this wasn't carried out. Bed wasn't overly the comfiest and just slightly overpriced.
