Alloggi Acquavita - checkin at "Alloggi SS Giovanni e Paolo"

Great value - a large room overlooking a canal. Fondamente Nove neighborhood is a little removed from the bulk of the tourist traffic but close enough to walk to other neighborhoods if desired and the vaporetto stop is only a few minutes walk away with boats to Murano, the train station, San Marco and the Biennale. Some great restaurants in the neighborhood. Trattoria Storica at the end of the street is very good - and I sat next to an actual Venetian couple who confirmed its quality. and the Combo locations in nearby Campo Gesuiti are also very pleasant for coffee, drinks, or dinner. There is even a laundromat 5 minutes walk away.

I had to ask for a new refrigerator and it took me a while to sort out the air conditioning - but all was good in the end.

It was good, a little far away from central Venice. It was raining a lot so it made it complicated to arrive there at times.

The service was only ok.

Great quiet location on the water, clean and comfortable. Very friendly receptionist who made me feel very welcome in Venice.

It was ok to stay for a couple of days

It wasn't like the Photos at all. No reception at the place, more than 10 min walking away. The shower and toilet were too tiny, and even uncomfortable It said smoking free, but some people were smoking in the small lobby and my room smelled bad due to that. And no reception at all to prevent that
